Walgreens: Free Razors & Rite Aid: Free Sonicare

I keep forgetting to post these two deals and even had reminders from you guys and still forgot.

Anyway, at Walgreens this week you can get 2 packs of razors for free:

Buy 2 Bic Disposables at $3.99/2
Use (2) $2/1 Bic Disposable Shaver, exp. 1-9-11 (SS 12/12/10)
Final price: Free!
*The Walgreens coupon policy does allow 2 coupons on a BOGO sale.

This week the Sonicare Essence toothbrushes are priced at $44.99 at Rite Aid
There is a $20 rebate from Rite Aid (#69) for the Essence #5300TB
Use the $10/1 from 11/21 SS or 12/12 SS
Send off for the $10 Mail in the Rebate from 11/21 SS or 12/12 SS
Final Price: $4.99 or possibly free if you have a 20% Wellness discount.
You can also use the $3/20 ad perk coupon to pay $1.99!

Reader Segou was able to also use the $1/1 ad perk coupon for any non Pharmacy item in addition to the $3/20 coupon.

Plus this should get you a $5 gift certificate for the Gift of Savings- which should help offset the tax you will pay!

*The Rite Aid rebate is submitted online and they will send you an actual check- so you can submit for both rebates!
OR

Starting next week these will be 25% off. ย I am not sure what the original price is on these- so 25% off could be a better deal or more expensive. ย I have a feeling it might be better to buy or get a rain check at $44.99.

The rebate is good through 12/23 in Southern CA or 12/25 everywhere else.

Thanks Deal Finding Chik and Sharon!

Yeah Krista I changed that to be more clear. Just refresh.

and thank you again for your blog. The other day I went to Target and got the Sonicare plus MANY groceries and walked out with a total of $48.00 and that’s BEFORE my $10.00 mail in rebate to Sonicare so $38.00 for like six bags from Target! Unheard of two months ago for me…Even with the long line of customers staring at me at Target as I handed over one coupon after another I couldn’t do anything but smile. Now I have extra money to spend on things I enjoy:)

I love your site, you do such a great job!

I am not sure you get the 20% at Rite Aid on top of sales, nonetheless, here is how I got a sonicare for just $0.99 the other day

    $44.99 Essence Sonicare
    -$20 RA rebate
    -$10 Manf coupon
    -$10 Manf RIR
    -$3 RA VV Reward
    -$1 RA VV Reward

AND it qualifies me towards the $20 RA gift card when you spend $100!

Thanks for all you do ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok thanks Segou. I never shop RA so I know most of you RA junkies know these deals way better than I do.

    Segou is correct….
$44.99 is a sale price (down from $80 or something like that), so 20% off won’t apply.
Be sure to black out any coupons you use on your receipt before mailing it off to Sonicare. They are really bad about sending your rebate if you used any coupons.

I’m pretty sure that the sonicare toothbrush is $74.99 at my store, so 25% off wouldn’t be as good of a deal.

what about the $5/$25 coupon ? Also, do we need to black out the total at the bottom too or just the coupons used ?

  9. Charlene says

    12/15/2010 at 8:49 PM

That is what I think too Kelli plus you’d pay tax on that price.

If you refer a friend, you will get another $10. You can refer a family member and I think you will need just the UPC code.

I did this yesterday. The regular price at my store was $84.99, so 25% is not a better deal! I was able to use one of my last $5/$25 coupons on it ๐Ÿ™‚

Brought a copy of the Walgreen’s coupon policy with me to 2 stores and neither would allow the second coupon! I have since sent a complaint to corporate.

Well.. for many reasons. When I started couponing I got a teeny obsessed because I was home with a baby all day and we were broke from buying a new house and relocating and the debt snowball. So I would go to Wags and RA a lot and we just had a lot of stuff. I give tons away of course but at one point we had like 20 body wash. So even though that was 2 years ago- a normal person probably won’t go through 20 in a year. So that is reason #1 I have everything I need. I am not an Extreme Couponer that converts the garage to store products and it makes me itchy to have too much stuff. Like 20 Body wash to me is nuts ๐Ÿ™‚ I like to have 5 or so. So I don’t need anything is the bottom line really. For food and other stuff I just don’t like to shell out any money. RA makes you wait for the rebate checks but I am cheap and I don ‘t want to spend the money upfront. Then I don’t want to have to roll Ups and all that. If I was a normal person I would probably shop there more. But you figure I spend 3 hours a week doing RA deals for MFA. That doesn’t include extra posting, answering questions, researching new stuff etc.. etc.. So really by the time I am done with it I have no more time or energy to pull together my own deals let alone drive there and shop. So that is the other reason. If I had a staff or some secret person doing my matchups I might be more motivated ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, my store they are stinkers. I prefer CVS because it is closer and they are nice to me and I never have a hassle. If I had a nice RA I would probably change my mind.
