Just a head’s up that Black Friday deals start tomorrow on Amazon!!
They will be adding all sorts of deals randomly throughout the day, all week long. Last year Amazon was extremely aggressive and they had a lot of incredible sales but most of them went FAST. (Fast as in pricing changes every hour.)
So I can’t predict what will be offered or what the prices will be. I can tell you that Amazon was very aggressive with Walmart in particular.
So I will keep my eye on as many deals as I possibly can and I will be posting many of them! All the Black Friday deals for Amazon can be found here.
A few things you might consider to get ready:
1. Prime or Amazon Mom. I mention these all the time. This is a service that Amazon provides that allows you free shipping on ANY order and even better it is upgraded 2 day shipping. (This excludes any 3rd party sellers.) A year subscription to Prime is $75 or so. You can get a FREE trial of the service with no obligations whatsoever by joining Amazon Mom. If you don’t have Prime, you typically need to spend $25 to get free shipping.
2. Weigh out the deals. Remember Amazon does not charge sales tax in 45 states. So even if the price is a little higher it can actually work out to be a better deal.
For example this week the Wii Console is priced at $199 at Target with a $20 coupon. In my area, I would pay $16.42 for tax. So if I went to Target, I would pay $215.42 minus the $20 coupon =$195.42. Now Amazon has the Wii Console on sale right now for $194.99- or .43 cheaper than I would pay at Target. Plus I didn’t have to leave my house.
