Reader Holly let me know yesterday that she found a great deal at Walgreens.
Bufferin Low Dose aspirin130ct is priced at $5.99.
There is a $3 off coupon in the Walgreens October Coupon book
Plus a $3 off coupon in the 10/17 SS insert (give this coupon first)
Your final price should be zero and you should be able to submit the mail in rebate from the 10/17 SS for $2.99 back. So this is a slight moneymaker.
The rebate form seems to indicate they will reduce your rebate by $3 to account for the SmartSource coupon- so you should get a $2.99 rebate which is the price after the coupon has been applied.
There is a chance they will refuse the rebate but since you are basically only paying a few cents for tax it might be worth a shot! I am guessing most stores might be out of stock on this product so you might want to head in sooner rather than later.
See more Walgreens deals for the week here.
Thanks Holly!

Both my Walgreen’s refused to do that because the amount on the coupon was above the amount on the item $2.99. What do I do?
Laura, I would print out the coupon policy for Walgreens which states that they can indeed adjust a coupon down in value. I am on my phone right now so I can’t grab the link for you but if you just click on any off the weekly Walgreens lists it is linked at the top of the post. You can try to complain to corporate if they still refuse but typically they will push complaints right back to the stores. Good luck!
At my store today they were not $5.99 but 6.49.
