Staples Ad 9/5: Cheap Paper

09/02/2010

The only deal I really saw next week is paper once again!  So we are officially at the end of the great school supply deals and hopefully you got everything you needed.

You can see next week’s ad here- just be sure to click on “Upcoming Ad”

HP Multipurpose paper $5.99
Get $4.99 back in a rebate
Final Price: $1

In case you missed this post, you can actually make a profit buying paper this week at Staples!

UPDATE:  It looks like Staples will have some very significant regional differences next week in the ad.  My local ad was a massive yawn- but be sure to double check as a few cities got some great deals!

I’ve been using the Staples deals all summer as a way to donate to my daughter’s school. She attends a small Christian school and they have had to make some major budget cuts this year. The copy paper is always welcome and then I also make sure I get the writing instruments – especially dry erase markers and highlighters.

This current week I got the paper (50 cents each), the scissors (50 cents each), the Bic pens (1 cent) and the school glue (1 cent each). I spent $2.03 and the school got some great (and needed) supplies. This next week I’ll probably get the paper, the notebook paper, the notebooks, the pens, and the highlighters and spend less than $4. I love Staples deals!

Pam that is so wonderful that you make the effort to do that and I am sure the school really appreciates your thoughtfulness. I love how easy it is to be generous when you know how to use coupons and watch for sales :)

I think the coupon is for Hammermill paper, but this week’s sale is for the HP paper. :(

Lori- this week had Hammermill paper for .50 after rebate. Next week will have HP paper for $1 after rebate.
So through tomorrow you can make a $1.50 profit providing your store has Hammermill paper in stock.
