If you live near a payless shoe source they carry the little preschool size backpacks. They just clearanced out alot of them too. I got a Transformer one for my son it was clearance for $6.00 and I had a $2.00 off Q that I got at the bottom of my reciept from a previous trip. So $4.00 for a backpack and my son loves it.
Oh Christina I know there are cheaper ones out there. I was going more for style 🙂 I like Skip Hop because I think they will last longer too.
I saw on another blog that the social buying site, Plum District, is going to be offering $40 to diapers.com for only $20 tomorrow. Might make it easier to buy that cutesy backpack 🙂

That little owl backpack is so cute! My 6 year old wants a Tinkerbell/Fairies backpack for next year, and unfortunately they never went on clearance with the rest at Target. Looks like I will be paying full price next year. 🙁
