Remember that 15% off Friends and Family Coupon for Walgreens?ย  Well it is valid through tomorrow and you will want to be sure and give that coupon first.

Here are several deal ideas to maximize that coupon:

Use the Walgreens coupon book coupon for $1 off (this will actually take off $1 per tub)
Then use the $2.50/3 coupon
Final Price: $2.12 for all 3 or .70 per tub!

Enfamil Enfagrow Formula $18.99

Use 15% off coupon= $16.14
Then use the $3 off Walgreens coupon book coupon
AND the $5/1 printable
and pay $8.14!

Purell 8oz $3.99
Use 15% off coupon= $3.39
Then use the $1/1 printable
and the $1/1 from the Walgreens coupon book
Final Price: $1.39

Purina Dog Chow $5 and there is a register reward that makes for cheap dog food!
{Deal Idea}

Thanks! Hope you don’t mind me sharing the wipes deal on afullcup. Yep, I credited you. ๐Ÿ™‚ Seriously, I appreciate all the time and work you do to help us save.

In the Chicago area these were $3.59 so not quite as good of a deal, but not bad. However the awful part was that I got so much trouble from the cashier about the Smartsource coupon – he said that Smartsource doesn’t have online coupons and therefore it must be fraudulent! I got a manager who also fully inspected it and compared it to some edict they had about printable coupons and FINALLY took it. Horrible trip to Walgreens ๐Ÿ™

Oh my gosh I have to say that would make me angry too. I just love my iPhone in those cases because you can pull the site right up and ask for an apology ๐Ÿ˜‰

For the Purina deal, the customer has to spend $20 after the 15% discount for the Register Reward to print, so you would have to buy one more for this deal to work.

These were $3.59 at my walgreens in Central Cali.

Yeah sorry I made a note of that because last time the prices were all over the place. So irritating because that extra .59 makes this not worth the hassle really.

I called last night and the wipes are actually 2.99 at my store. Give you one guess where I’m going today/ ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks! What zip code did you use for the Purell coupon?

Can you get the Walgreens coupon book in the store?

  10. Charlene says

    08/04/2010 at 9:24 AM

Yes Carrie every single store around the country will have them for free in store. Usually by the registers.

Now I remember why I don’t shop at Walgreens and prefer CVS. I can never find what I need. I have 3 walgreens in my area and the first did not have any wipes, the second had 1 tub. I am off to the third in a little while. I also couldn’t find the purel or the visine. I also noticed at the second walgreens that they have the boys nightime 2T-3T pull-ups on clearance for $2.something from $11.99. That would be a great deal if you have a pull-up coupon. But off course, they didn’t have anymore!

My Walgreens in IL sells the 72 count for $3.59. I used the 3 coupons as explained and the register rejected one of them. This is because Walgreens will not allow the use of more than one manufacturers coupon. All of the name brand items in the monthly Wags booklet are manufacturers coupons as specifically stated on the coupon itself. Anyway, instead of paying the anticipated $2.13, I paid out almost 3 times the amount of $6.15. Not such a good deal after all ๐Ÿ™

  13. Charlene says

    08/04/2010 at 1:13 PM

TJ is in fact a store coupon. If you took the Walgreens coupon booklet to any other store out there they would never accept it. You can see that by the bar code right on the coupon. You can call customer service and complain about your store because you should be able to stack the store coupons just fine. $6 is not a deal at all- that is way more than I would pay for them.

So I went to the last walgreens in my town and they had what I needed. Yay! So in total of 2 transactions, I spent $6.09. I got gillete fusion razor, box of crayons, bottle of purel, bottle of visine, and 6 boxes of Huggies wipes. I can’t believe the deal I got. And I still have a $1 reward for my next purchase. My deal would have been better if I would have used my $2 visine coupon that I just found in my purse. That’s what I get for sticking it not where it should be. I would have paid $4.09. Oh well. I think I might go back and get another bottle and use it.

Yeah Lacey so glad to hear it!

I’ve been reading on a lot of different sites that a lot of people are having prob with this deal- the smartsource coupons as ‘fake’ and having too many ‘manufac’ coupons when really it’s a store coupon. I did this deal yesterday afternoon- bought 6 tubs @ $0.71/tub with no problems from cashier, and no beeps. Stinks that some of you all have to get the run around for doing something perfectly legit!

My manufacturers coupons worked as did the 15% off friends and family. However, my $5 register rewards for the 4 dog foods did not print and the cashier and the assistant manager says it had to add up to $20 after coupons. Are they wrong?

  18. Charlene says

    08/04/2010 at 9:32 PM

Well poop Lisa. In the past it did work on precoupon totals but maybe Walgreens got wise to us. I did hear from one person that had this work for them so I am not sure what to say. I think the easiest course of action is to try catalina marketing first and see if you read them your receipt info they may be able to mail you your RR. If they say it didn’t qualify for the RR than I am sorry the deal didn’t work as I thought it would ๐Ÿ™ You can always return the items for a refund.

Thanks Charlene….and I love your response. “well poop” was exactly my thoughts last night!
I will try calling catalina tomorrow…I appreciate the info ๐Ÿ™‚
