I think your math is off here…wouldn’t the final price be: $4.99?

    WOW!!!

Thanks so much for this early list. Now I know that I need at least 3-4 newspapers this week. It’s going to be a great week!! I’ve been out of my schedule of going to Walgreens for the past 6 weeks since I had my baby, but I’m ready to be back! 🙂

I got the Jergens facial glow bar and another Jergens product for free after $5RR. Yea!! Walgreens didn’t have any signs or advertisements, the clerk didn’t even know about this. Thank you,

Did anyone try the John Freida deal yet? I just did, and was in such a hurry to get to the bakery to pick up my son’s birthday cake, that I didn’t realize until I got home that the $5 RR didn’t print. UGH.

i heard that the Frieda deal won’t work on the 33% free products. I would email a copy of the receipt to Catalina. they will surely mail you a catalina that will have a 30 day expiration date.

Does anyone have Walgreen’s coupon policy? I would like to print out a copy of it and bring it to my store to show the manager at my store that you can use more than ONE coupon per “deal” from the store circular. The guy is an idiot. He thinks that you can only use one coupon because that’s what the fine print says. He’s reading the part on the ad where you only GET one register reward per transaction….he just doesn’t get it. It took me over 20 minutes of fighting with the store manager (and losing) for me to walk out. I’m emailing corporate right now because this is not the first time this guy has been rude to me….and I’ve seen him be rude to the employees as well. UGH!

There is also a great deal on the Aveeno products. I don’t have the items here right now but I’m sure someone can research this better. When you buy 3 small tubes of cream which are 3.29 and there is a 1.50 coupon from a recent sunday insert, you get a free aveeno kit free which has a number of small items in it, retail price 9.99. There is also a $2.00 coupon inside each kit. I bought a number of them so I have been using the $2.00 coupon. So I’m getting 3 aveeno cream and a kit for $3.90, not free but worth it.

Thanks Ruthie- I have posted that deal several times. It is a good one!

I received a phone call today from the store manager at my Walgreens. She apologized over and over again about the problems that I have had at the store. She said that I was correct and that she will be having a talk with the supervisor that I had problems with. So, now I have to go back to get the deal on the Old Spice body wash/deodorants.

I did notice one thing though when I was at the store. The BOGO coupons were on a specific deodorant that is not on sale for $2.99 (they are actually $4.99). I was hoping that the cashier wouldn’t notice when I was first buying them, but she did. Any other deal idea on this so I can still get the body washes and deodorants for free??

Oops….my last post won’t make a ton of sense as I got the Old Spice deal from another site. Here’s what they posted:

    Suggested Scenario
Buy (4) Old Spice Body Wash, $4.49 each ($17.92)
    Buy (4) Old Spice Deodorant, $2.99 ($11.96)
    Get $10 RRs wyb $25
Use (4) FREE Old Spice Body Wash wyb Body Wash or Deodorant (P&G 6/6/10)
Use (2) $1/2 Old Spice Deodorant or Body Wash, exp. 7-31-10 (P&G 6/6/10)
Better than FREE after coupons and RRs!

Any suggestions on this deal on how to modify it since the free coupons don’t apply to the $2.99 deodorants that are on sale?

    06/08/2010 at 8:53 PM

Um. Wow that is quite a scenario- it gives me a headache so congrats to you for sorting through it all 🙂 So the issue is the Fresh Collection is 4.99 and that is what the coupon is for… I am not sure how to work with it actually. I guess my suggestion is to do the Gillette deal instead 😛 Gillette will be free after ECB next week at CVS too so that is all I got.

  13. Trisha says

    06/09/2010 at 9:37 PM

Yeah, I plan on going back there tomorrow…they were out of the Gillette when I was there on Sunday. 🙁 Oh well, hopefully they will have gotten more in when I go tomorrow after work. 🙂 Hopefully I will also get a better cashier that will let me use my Reach coupons to get them for free as well. The one on Sunday wouldn’t adjust them down a penny. :/
