If you are new to Rite Aid head over HERE. Otherwise you can print a $3/15 coupon HERE and be sure to read all about the ad perk coupons HERE! Lately the ads have had some variation from region to region so be sure to double check your local ad!

Things have changed at Rite Aid and they are asking for customers to only use one like ad perk coupon in any transaction. So note my scenarios will only show one like ad perk coupon.

    Hi
Is there an updated coupon policy explaining the ad perk coupons? I think you are saying they only want one per transaction? So if you are buying two different items that both have ad perk coupons, they need to be rung in separate transactions? Is this correct? Thank you.

  2. Charlene says

    03/06/2010 at 11:16 AM

No there is not and we probably won’t see it because RA is considering taking the program away due to abuse. They have clarified the policy and asked that one LIKE coupon be used. So if you want to buy 3 packs of Oreos and use (3) ad perk coupons than just do 3 transactions.

The key word is LIKE so if you want an Oreos and a Pull Ups than those can be used in the same transaction.

Just went to rite aid today and was told in pretty snotty terms that they no longer accept b1g1 coupons on b1g1 items and that they would no longer accept 2 coupons on b1g1 items. Is there an updated coupon policy that I don’t know about?

I think you just got stuck with a meanie. I would try a different store or perhaps you can call and speak with a manager? The coupon policy has not changed to my knowledge.

  5. kari says

    03/07/2010 at 11:44 AM

    That was the manager. Heh.

  6. Charlene says

    03/07/2010 at 12:44 PM

Figures. Sorry Kari. I go across town to get away from a mean manager store. I have a mean Target a mean Wags and a mean RA. I just avoid them all.

I had a mean manager at my store today also! In fact, I was considering calling & making a complaint. But, it kinda sounds like the “mean manager” orders may be coming from the top of the food chain!

Please enter me in the baby contest; I would love to win that for a friend! THanks for all you do.

What is Rite Aid policy with bogo; can you really use a coupon for that on top of a bogo in the store and get two items for free???

  10. Charlene says

    03/07/2010 at 4:16 PM

Jodi if you just head up to the Rite Aid FAQs link at the top of the post you can see the policy- it does state very clearly you can use a BOGO on a BOGO.

I had a rude shift manager today as well at Rite Aid!! She gave me the third degree on the John Freda $3 off coupons being used in on transaction because it does state on them one per purchase. She gave me the same story on the Renu $1.00 off coupons as well. What’s up with that?? I had no problem using two last week in one transaction.

I picked up three (of the same) newspapers today. All three had SS, RP and P&G inserts, but not one of them had Biore or John Frieda coupons. Anyone know why? I am seriously disappointed. 🙁

  13. Charlene says

    03/08/2010 at 12:45 AM

Jami Lynn- newspapers vary tremendously. If you decide to grab extra papers in the future you might flip through them first to be sure you didn’t get cheated. You can read more here:

okay so i was wondering if you think this would work out for the buy one olay item get one 50% off at rite aid. i have a $3/1 coupon from 2/7 p&g on any olay regenerist facial moistutizer and a buy one olay regenerist facial moistutizer get a free olay body lotion. Does that sound like it would work?

  15. Charlene says

    03/08/2010 at 3:29 PM

Yes. Two items and 2 coupons should be fine just keep in mind the moisturizer is really spendy- like $18. So use the $3/15 or $5/20 as well.

Just wanted to let you know, I tried a different rite aid and? No problems at all. The manager just said “good deal, huh?”
If the orders to be mean are coming from the top, not everyone got the memo.

thanks so much for your help and for a great blog!

Thanks so much Charlene for always answering my questions. So i tried it tonight and it wasn’t as good of a deal as i thought!

Great blog Charlene. I can’t seem to find the Halls coupon on the link you provided though. Any suggestions?

  19. Charlene says

    03/09/2010 at 1:40 PM

It might be gone Darci but you can look for a $1/2 in the 2/21 SS.

I did the Olay deal yesterday without any problems. I bought the Daily Cleanser ($7.99) and got the Renewal Cleanser for 50% ($2.99 – not sure why it took 50% off the more expensive item) and then bought a Moisutirzer for $4.49 (marked $4.99 – but rang up lower) and another Daily Cleanser for 50% off ($2.24). I used (3) $1.00 off Olay (from the coupon books in the Pampers boxes a while back) and a $3.00 off Regenerist. I also bought a bag of Bagel Chips ($1.99) so that I could use the $5 off $20 Adperk coupon. It came to $9.28 with tax and I will mail in for the $15 rebate!…..

    03/12/2010 at 6:20 AM

Oh…I also used 2 coupons on B1G1F items yesterday (in a seperate transaction from above)….I bought the Colgate toothpaste at $3.49 B1G1F (expensive, I know) and used (2) $1.00/1 coupons from All You (so not a bad deal and I LOVE Colgate Max Fresh)….and I bought 6 Snickers ($1.49, B1G1F) and used (2) $1.00/3 coupons….

  22. Annie says

    03/12/2010 at 3:55 PM

Boo – there were no Pampers or Starburst at my Rite Aid so I couldn’t get anything. John Frieda looked pretty picked over too but I wasn’t gonig to get any anyway since I don’t get the paper and its coupons. But I did get some Renpure conditioner which had a free rebate attached to it as did the Organix hair products. So I was at least able to use my $3/15 cause I needed some milk and eggs too and luckily, they carry a local farm’s that I like (and is cheaper than my grocery store’s!).
