Ok I am rushing around today getting ready for our vacation but I wanted to post two quick updates for CVS and Walgreens.
CVS:
I bought the Pampers today (2 packs) and I was VERY happy to see the limit is actually 3 packs not 2 as the ad states!!! Now I know that because I looked at my receipt and it indicates how many more you can buy of an ECB deal at the bottom!
You can read about this deal HERE.
Walgreens:
I tested my theory about the Planters nuts. I bought 3 bags at $1.50 each of the trail mix. I used (2) $1.50/1 Planters coupons (available earlier this week.) I also used the coupon for $1/2 from the Walgreens March coupon book. I wasn’t sure if that would take off .50 per bag or if you needed multiples of 2- well it worked!
I got all three bags for a grand total of ZERO! So this is a great week to use your coupons!
I’m kicking myself in the butt for not printing that coupon. We LOVE train mix. Charlene you are great. I tell EVERYONE about your blog and several friends are following it. It’s really the easiest to follow. Easy on the eyes! You are fab! Enjoy your vacation.
Thanks .. I just bought 2 pack of easy ups today ! After you posted this I checked my reciept and It says I have one more avaliable!!
Thank you for the update. I hadn’t checked my CVS receipt until now. Going back tomorrow for another pack of diapers. Stocking up for a new baby:)
i was at Walgreens last night doing my last minute shopping and bought the trail mix then. It seems they had one overlapping day with the deals because they were supposed to be $1.99 apiece but was only charged the 2/$3 price. I got 2, used the (2) $1.50 coupons and the $1/2 and never even noticed until I was home. Woohoo!
I had my cvs deals all planned out and wasn’t planning on going and then had to make a quick trip there for something else tonight before they closed so I grabbed 3 air wicks ( I was only going to get one but the coupon expired tonight and they had tons ), I also got one pack of pampers, the crest pro health rinse, a baby bottle ( a necessity ), and the colgate toothpaste, my total before coupons was 40 something and after coupons and ecbs I paid 11 something out of pocket and got back $9 in ecbs which I will use towards more diapers. I so love CVS, it’s my favorite drugstore to shop as it’s so easy and it’s a few blocks from us 🙂
I did the trail mix deal at Walgreens on Sat. I bought two trail mix and used the two $1.50 off coupons and the (1) Wags coupon. I did buy something esle while I was there. What I want to know is: Could I have just bought two trail mix bags and used 3 coupons? (One was a Wags SC) Does Wags let you do that?
Yes Kathleen you could have since the amounts are exactly the price of the items. I paid 0 total.
Charlene,
Thank you for your quick response and thank you for your wonderful site!
The Planters facebook page says they are releasing more coupons later this week!!
I just went to CVS tonight. I bought 3 pkgs. of Pampers Diapers, but they only gave me $6 in ECB’s for it. Yet the receipt does say “used 2, but need 1 more”. So not sure what to make of it. But I did get a coupon out of the machine for “$2 off a $10 baby purchase”.
Kecia if you call CVS customer service they might be able to credit the ECBs- they have really nice service people.
Used the new Planters coupons today on Trail Mix at Wags, paid 50 cents per bag! Yeah, thanks.
I finally went and got a CVS card today! Woohoo! The only reason I haven’t before now is because it’s the only store on the other side of town so I’ll basically be making a special trip. *whine* I just hate driving. But…I do all my shopping in the late evening so it’s never too bad. But yay! I really am SUPER excited about this!
