Well I nearly fell over when I saw this little beauty! Some of you will recall that Kmart- shall we say- likes to keep us guessing on the double coupon events?
Well for the event coming up on 4/4 they have issued a complete list of participating stores HERE!
So a super thank you to those that sent me confirmation emails from Kmart for your areas but it looks like this time around they are going to make it a little easier on us!
You can get more information about the double coupon ever HERE- remember it is just 5 coupons per day!
And if you have never participated in a doubles event you can see an old list of match ups HERE- hopefully this goes without saying that the list is expired but you can get an idea of why we all get so excited!

Yay! My Kmart is on the list! I have never seen a doubles event before so i am pretty excited. Tops has 4 up to 1$ coupon doublers in their ad this week but i don’t know of any blogs who do Tops. It is only a small regional chain so most have probably never even heard of it. I can’t wait for the Kmart event.

Don’t stores double coupons all the time? Why is this so special? I read the other post you linked to I’m still confused. You’ll have to help me out while I’m still new at all this
Yay! Mine made the list! I saw on the post from the last doubles that you had to have $25 in merchandise before coupons. Do you think it is going to be the same this time around?
No they do not seem to have that as a prerequisite this time.
Jamie Kmart only does doubles every so often. This is the first one since September of 2009. They double coupons to $2 which is a much higher value than 90% of the grocery stores out there. If you look at the last list for Kmart doubles you can see there is a massive amount of items that typically wind up being free or very, very cheap so it is totally different than a regular doubles at a grocery store where you might get a small number of inexpensive items free with doubles. If you have a $2 coupon for an item than you essentially get $4 off. That is a significant savings.
I live in Utah, Jamie, and stores here NEVER double coupons, so, yes, this is super exciting. It’s a great opportunity to get a bunch of stuff for free or next to it.
So excited! I’ve been going thru withdrawal. I started couponing the beginning of last spring when kmart was doubling, and I got hooked! Can’t wait for this one!

I read your old post on this event and noticed it said you have to spend a pre-coupon total of $20.00 or was $25.00 , anywhoo is that gonna be the same this time you think??
Tina, Kelsey asked that as well. Please do not look at that list as current. It is 6 months old. It is just to give you an idea of the types of deals we have seen in the past. None of the information is current and the only prereq they have for this round is 5 coupons per day.
So basically ignore every single thing on there because none of it will apply. You can skim the list to see the types of deals in the past but there will be totally different information for the upcoming round of doubles.

I am a little confused. I just called my K-Mart store and they informed me that they are participating in the event but you must have a rewards card. She said that if you use $1 off coupon you will get $1 off put onto your card…Is that $1 redeemable on that purchase? or do I have to wait for another purchase to use it?
