gillette at wags

There is a Buy One Get One 50% off sale at Walgreens this week.  This is a little tricky so stay with me because I think it will work:

Buy 2 Gillette Deodorant at $4.49 (this will be one at $4.49 and one at $2.24)
Buy 2 Gillette Body Wash at $4.49 (this will be one at $4.49 and one at $2.24)
Subtotal: $13.46

Then use the $4/2 Deodorant or Body Wash coupon from 2/21 P&G (this should be for the deodorant)
Also use (2) Buy One Deodorant get a Free Body Wash from 2/7 P&G
Final Price: $2.73 for all 4 items or about .68 each

Now the cashier might also take off the full price for both body wash (rather than one at $4.49 and one at $2.24.) If that is the case you will only pay about .50 grand total plus tax!

If anyone tries this please come back and let us know how it works out!

It worked like a charm. I bought 6 body washes and 6 deodorants for $5.75 total. Awesome deal.

I did do this and it works. I try to always give the b1g1 free coupons first. Then they can get them out of the way and they dont seem to have a problem scanning the other coupons.

If I give the b1g1 free coupons last sometimes a cashier will say well you already had a coupon for that item. For me it just works better to get the harder coupons out of the way first.

    I did it with only 2 items. I bought 1 of each and used the BOGO Q and a $1 Q. paid 1.24 +tax.

I did this same kind of deal today but it was with Cover Girl products. They were B1 G1 50% off. I got 2 Wetslicks @ 4.99 & the 2nd one was 2.49. I used B1G1Free coupon which took off 4.99.. the coupon wouldn’t go through at first & a manager came over and put it through and then used $1 off any CG product. So the total was 1.49 for the 2 wetslicks. .74 cents each.

I’m going to try this Gillete tomorrow. Thanks!! 🙂

I tried this last nite….the system wouldn’t take the fourth coupon….but it was still a good deal.

I just tried this at my central IL Walgreens… and it was a 3 ring circus. I got 4 deodorants and 4 body washes, used 4 Buy 1 deo get 1 body wash free and 2 $4 off/2 deodorants… my total came to $13 and change. They only took off 2.49 for each deodorant… not quite sure how they arrived there, but by the time all the coupons went through without beeping my two boys were ready to go. YMMV!!

This deal worked like a charm, except the little old man cashier was a little flustered with all my coupons! I ended up paying a little bit more, my prices were a little bit higher in OH..I still ended up with 2 body washes and 4 deodorants and a gillette shampoo for 10 with tax. The shampoo was on clearance for 2.99 and I used $1 off coupon. I didnt think this was a bad deal at all!! Thank you!!

i just went to walgreens and got 2 body washes and 2 dedorants; used 2 bogo coupons and (1) $4 off coupon and paid 1.96 with tax for all 4 items. the cashier took 4.99 each for the body wash so i got a really good deal!

I have a general coupon question. Can you use coupons for two items when they are buy one get one free? Even though you’re not paying for one at all?

You can do this same deal at rite aid too and get them free. The deoderant is 2/$8 with a $2 SRC, 2 body washes free they where $4.99 each at my store in Or. If you use $3/$15 purchase coupon first (or add the b1g1 starburst and use the b1g1 coupon from facebook you can use the $5/$20 purchase coupon), then hand over the free coupons and the $4/2 coupon. You should end up paying less than $1 oop and get the $2 rebate making it a money maker. I had to add a .50 cent candy to get my total over $20 before coupons and then paid .39 cents OOp (on a gc) making it a $1.61 money maker for me (2 deod., 2 body washes, 2 king size starburst, and a cadbury egg).

I did this deal and it worked great! The cashier looked hard at the BOGO coupon, but then put it through. I bought a few other things that I had coupons for also. Total was around $50, finalized at 4.05 and after $4 in RR’s I paid a grand total of 5 cents!! Wow! The cashier was even impressed!! She said, “You did good” and I left happy!
