Just a quick heads up if you still have the $2 Dove coupons. Starting Sunday, Walgreens will have Dove haircare priced at $4 with a $4 register reward back.
This is a $2 moneymaker if you haven’t used your coupon! We are supposed to see a $2.50 off coupon in the Sunday paper but I am not sure if that is $2.50/1 or $2.50/2 so keep your fingers crossed! Otherwise there was the $1.50/1 Daily Treatment Conditioner coupon in the 3/21 RP- so lots of ways to maximize this deal!
I normally don’t shop at Walgreens since the nearest one is in the next town over but I think I will for this deal! Do you know if there is a limit on how many times you can do it? I think I was able to print 2 coupons and would like to get both the shampoo and conditioner.
Kelsey make sure you read up on Walgreens because it is tricky- just check out Drugstore 101 at the top of the blog. You can get as many as you want but you need to be able to roll the rewards and then you want to make sure you buy them all separately.

I have read over and over about the register rewards, but still don’t get how it works. Are the register rewards a coupon for the same product you just received them for? Or are they for another completely random item?
I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the off one was a miss print. Usually I can find these coupons up early on Ebay and I can find the Snuggle but can’t find a $2.50/1 ANYWHERE.

I got my Red Plum in the mail yesterday and it has a $1.50 off one Dove hair care product. Maybe it’s regional – I live in Utah. Still, free plus $1.50 overage is pretty sweet, and the conditioner is really nice. Also, the $3.00 off Snuggle is back, woohoo! I need to go hoard some Red Plum inserts.
I get the RedPlum insert early in our free weekly paper, and the Dove coupon was $2.50/2 here in Texas.
Danielle the vast majority of the time they are a coupon that is like a gift card you can use on anything else in the store. It is a manufacturer coupon though so you have to jump through extra hoops to use them with any other coupons. Every so often they are only good on another product from that same company- like Revlon- but I always make that crystal clear in my posts.
My Walgreens never let me use the register rewards on the same item. But I am thinking I will use the rewards on Easter Basket stuff. Now let me see if I can track down some extra coupons, or else I be buying 10 papers this week!
Tami if you use a RR to buy the same item again you won’t get a second RR. It is a quirk of the system.
My Walgreens won’t let you scan a RR for a Dove product if you got your RR for buying a Dove product. It is a “limit one” but you can buy as many as you want at different stores/different trips. My city has numerous Walgreens, most of them are close to each other, so I hit 3 on my way to Target today. This Dove RR is still a great deal without the coupons, but I had 4 shampoo coupons $1.50/1 plus the $4 in RR!
