I am working through the Safeway ad and wanted to highlight one deal separately. Starting tomorrow Farmer John’s sausage links will be priced at .99. There is a .75/1 coupon right HERE– so .24 after coupon!
I believe this brand is only available on the West Coast- so you might check your ad HERE to see if the deal is available in your area. (It was on page 2 of my ad)
My ad also shows Asparagus at .86/lb. If you grab the Safeway coupon HERE for .50 off 1lb of Asparagus- get it for just .36/lb! What a deal! (Produce prices vary so be sure to double check your ad!!)
I’ve noticed the safeway coupons in the ads are very limiting-i.e. buy 10 dollars and are very specific about the items you can use the coupons for. I got very excited about their orowheat promotion, turns out I was limited b/c of including alcohol(for the 10/50 purchase) and then b/c it wasn’t the right BREAD.
Yes the prices are a little cheaper on some things but if you want to help us save, please don’t much so many constraints on stuff. it really sucks.

Just got back from Safeway and used the 50 cent Q – great call btw. Just wanted to let you know that the Q gives you 50 cents off your total b/c you bought asparagus, not 50 cents off each pound. Found this out the hard way b/c I bought two… still not a bad deal though. Thanks for all your hard work!
Okay, check this out. I click on Charlene’s link for farmer john’s which takes me to page 1 of ss q’s. I enter zip 95482 and hit enter. Great! Q not on page one, so I go to page 2 (by various methods) or any any other page and it always reverts back to zip 90001. Any ideas?
I don’t know why but I can see the coupon under 90001. Did you click on the drop down menu to get the coupon and try to print?
Yep, tried that too. Even page 1 of both zips, it doesn’t list farmer john. I’ll just chalk it up to one of those things! Thanks for your help.
