Reader Melinda let me know that when she did the Johnson and Johnson rebate deal today at Walgreens the products actually rang up and Buy One Get One FREE not Buy One get One 50% off!!

That makes the deal I told you about HERE even better!

Now I have no idea how long this will last- but it is a good idea to prepare a new scenario just in case if you plan to submit the $10 rebate!

Here is a new idea if the items in your store do ring up as Buy One Get One Free:

Buy 6 Lubriderm Lotion 6oz at $3.79 (3 will be free) $11.37
Buy 4 Clean and Clear Cleansers or Astringent at $4.79 (2 will be free) $9.58
Buy 2 Roc items at $9.99 (one will be free)
Subtotal: $30.84

Use (4) $2/1 coupons for Lubriderm
Use $1/1 Walgreens coupon from Diabetes and You book (should take $1 off for all 6)
Use (4) $2/1 Clean and Clear coupons
Use (2) $3/1 Roc coupon

Final Price: $2.94 and submit $10 rebate HERE for a $7 profit!

Now this is the best case scenario. Not all cashiers will allow you to use all those coupons and you might not find all that product on the shelves. Good luck and let us know how your trips work out!!

Any more information as to whether or not the $30 can be on multiple receipts? I know you mentioned before that the rebate was unclear and our best bet would be to do it all in one transaction. Is that still your feeling? Thanks.

Johnson and Johnson just called me back and said it is only on one receipt. What a bummer! I was thrilled because I had purchased items on 3 receipts, and none of them adding up to $30. I asked if she could check into this more and contact me back if they will change to allow multiple receipts.

The BOGO or BOGO 50% is supposedly totally hit or miss. I am up in Portland and there are verifications of both prices all over town.

Can anyone verify — if my local store has BOGO 50%, do you need $30 worth of product BEFORE the BOGO discounts (full retail price of each item) or AFTER the BOGO discount, to add up to $30 for the rebate?
