walgreens 5off25 dec

As I mentioned HERE there is a separate ad for 12/9-12/12.  There will be a $5 Register Reward when you spend $25 in products. It looks like this will automatically print once your total hits $25.  I believe this should be pre-coupon totals.  In the past Walgreens has required you spend $25 AFTER all coupons but this appears to be different.

Coke 12 pks 3/$10
Get $2 Register Reward
Final Price: 3/$8

Hershey’s Holiday candy 2/$5
Use $1/2 from 12/6 SS
Get $1 RR
Final Price: $1.50 each

Arm and Hammer 2x Laundry Detergent $2.49
Use $1/2 HERE
Final Price: $1.99 each when you buy 2

Walgreens Toys $9.99
Use $4/1 coupon in ad
Final Price: $5.99

Get $6.99 Register Reward
Use $2/1 HERE (must register)
Also submit Try Me Free Rebate HERE
Final Price: $2 profit after Register Reward and you should get $6.99 back in a rebate!

Neutrogena Men’s Skin Care $4.99
Use $2/1 from All You Dec
Get $4.99 Register Reward
Final Price: $2 moneymaker

Conair Hairbrushes or Scunci Hair Accessories $2

Renu $9.99
Use $2/1 HERE (there are often coupons inside the boxes as well)
Final Price: $2 moneymaker

Final Price: FREE

Stayfree 16-24 pack Maxi $1.99
Get $1.99 RR
Use $1/1 HERE
Final Price: $1 moneymaker

Deal Idea:

Buy Stayfree at $1.99
Buy Renu at $9.99
Buy Neutrogena at $4.99
Buy Just for Men at $6.99
Buy either Conair, Scunci or Stim U Dent at $2
Subtotal $25.96 before coupons so $5 RR should print
Use $2 Renu
Use $1 Stayfree
Use $2 Neutrogena
Use $2 Just for Men

IS this all over the US? I asked one of the sales associates at our Wags about it & she had no clue what I was talking about. However on the other hand, half the time it seems like some of them dont.
    🙂 Thanks!

It is supposed to be nationwide but I would go online for sure on the 9th and enter your zip and see if the ad comes up.

In Michigan, Walgreen’s does not participate in the mid-week sales. Boo. 🙁

Rebecca, I’m in Michigan and my Walgreens participates in the special sales. In fact, last week I had the sales lady helping me find the right items!

My walgreens won’t let me use Manufacturers coupons with since I’ll be getting back RR. It kinda stinks but I still come out with about $9.00 extra RR.

I couldnt get the “deal idea” to work on all the products in our local store. The manager said Wags runs different sales in different regions.

The ads are nationwide. You might want to check online by adding your zip code here: http://walgreens.shoplocal.com/walgreens/default.aspx?action=entry&pretailerid=-99389&siteid=434&storeID=2431586

or just check in your store for the ads by the door and just look.

I’m in Michigan and all the Walgreens stores run the 4 day sales. The 5rr is only printing if you spend 25 after coupons and before tax.

I got lucky and my RR printed even though my total was only 14 and some change after coupons! These deals made for a great bunch of rewards for me.

I am loving the $9.99 toys on for $4 off. I used my overage and then bought 3 toys. Paid with the previous RR and got another $5 RR (since the pre-coupon total hit $25). I did this 3 times. The toys are being donated to the giving tree. That is 9 more kids who will have a present under the tree.

In my area 2600 kids in need and only 300 toys so far. That is alot of kids without this season. Let us all help in our community with our couponing skills to make it a Happy Holidays for others.

I went to Wags in my area yesterday and I didn’t get any RR for my scunci head bands. I asked the cashier and he was like “oh well” so I just said forget it, I don’t wanna deal with a bigger mess than I already had. I bought a lot of stuff, saving over $100. I was quite happy with my 4 packs of chinet plates I got for .49 each.
