I just went to Walgreens and tried to use a coupon from the November coupon book on multiple items.  It only deducted the amount off of one item.  It looks like Walgreens may be correcting the glitch in their system that allows for one coupon to deduct the value from each like item.  It may also be an issue with just select coupons… let us know if you have the same experience!

Were you using the November Healthy Savings Q Book? For some reason, those Q’s are considered Manuf. Qs, not Wags Qs.. I got into the same issue a few days ago.

I was also told by one of the cosmetics associates that Wags is considering canceling their RR program since so many people have figured out to use the system to its fullest extent.. Im hoping its not so but we shall see…

Kim, Walgreens is sure making this tough aren’t they? I saw the two different books and I used one coupon from each book- so that might be the reason!

My Walgreens manager told me they are “revamping” their RR program early next year. He doesn’t know yet what will change, but he said too many people were having problems with it. Anyone else hear about this?

I haven’t heard anything about the RR, but I do seem to notice they don’t have as many high dollar RR’s in the past couple of weeks. I am currently avoiding Wags, because the last time I was there, the register beeped on a $5/25 coupon, and the store manager said that although my purchase qualified for the coupon, he was unable to force it through since it beeped.

For Ricola, the Walgreen coupon $0.50 cents off is for the larger bag (50 count) so I don’t know if you can use for the ones on sale for $1.

I’ve had NUMEROUS issues with coupons at Walgreens. I talked with the manager and Walgreens is having a lot of problems with their register rewards being used at other stores (like Albertsons). Apparently, Albertsons is no longer taking them as they lost too much money. I had some problems last week with the $1 off two Glade products. It wouldn’t even take the $1 off and the manager kept insisting that it was because the items I was buying were already on sale for $4.99, so I couldn’t use the coupon. I knew it was bull…as then you couldn’t use coupons on just about anything in the store!! I don’t think the managers know what’s going on anymore and are just making things up. I’ve seriously considered stopping all my shopping at Walgreens unless I have to go there or see a good deal on something that doesn’t have a RR. It’s sad that these stores are cutting the costs on things like this…

    OK thanks frugal girl!

Tonight the juice coupon worked and took off $1 for both I purchased. The Thereflu coupon also took off $2 for both I purchased.

However I noticed the the RR that printed have differnet experations dates. Normally they have been good for 2 weeks from the date they print. Tonight the $10 RR on the Almay foundation is only good for 1 week. But the other ones that printed $3 Theraflu and $4 breath right RR are good for 2 weeks.

    Hi Charlene
In case you missed this, Accu-Chek Aviva system is on sale for $14.99 @ Walgreens. There is a $10.00 off coupon in SmartSource, 11/08/09. There is also a $5.00 off coupon in the Walgreens Diabetes Mag. So you can stack both and get it for free. ust picked up the last one this evening. There is also a MIR attached with this, but I haven’t got round to chinging it out. Thanks.

    Michelle,

Typically the rebate companies will reject the rebate if you have used a coupon. I haven’t done it personally but that is what I have heard.
