Reminder: Kodak Freebie Ending Soon!

10/26/2009

kodak ornamentJust a  reminder if you got the $15 credit to Kodak that I told you about HERE- it is expiring soon!  There are so many cute gifts you can get for just a few dollars with this credit.  I had planned to make a Christamas Ornament but a reader passed along the code: SWEETRETURN to get an extra 20% off!  I decided to make a calendar instead and the final total was $5.98 with shipping.

You can click HERE to see all the great items available!  I think this promotion is still running so sign up HERE if you missed out the first time!Kodak Calendar

I just tried to use the free calendar code and it said the code does not exist. However, I have the $15 credit and if you order more than 2 items, it will automatically take another 25% off after the $15 credit.

When I tried to use my $15 credit it didn’t count towards shipping charges. Boo!

Thanks for the reminder, Charlene! I thought I saw Nov. 15th on it somewhere so I had that written down, then just saw the other day that it expires on the 28th! Yay for a free photo gift!

I had the same problem with the code for the calendars. Has it worked for anyone?

I tried it last night and it looks like it expired. I edited the post with the code that I used. One calendar was $1 and I paid $4.99 shipping.

I hear ya Cali- I was like $5 for shipping! I think we are getting a little too spoiled with freebies :) Most people would think that was an awesome deal to spend $5 on a $25 calendar.

Listen ladies . . .
I had a problem with my code too so I sent a chat to a rep and this is what I got in response:

: Hi, my name is KARINA D.. How may I help you?
Nadia: Hi Karina, I’m trying to use my promo code I received through an email and it doesn’t seem to work. Why is that?
: I’m sorry
: did you already validate it?
Nadia: This is the first time I’m using it.
: OK
: go to my account
Nadia: My order does show a discount for $5.96 but it says i’ts because of my first order I get 40% off
: Ok
: I’m sorry but you can not apply both discounts
Nadia: I’m at My Acoount
Nadia: I didn’t it automatically applied it self
: the 40% off is first since it’s the first one we provided
: that is an automatic credit
Nadia: so then i can’t use my $15 credit at all?
: not at this moment
: you need to make a purchase to take advantage of the 40% off
: and them the $15 code will work
Nadia: Kodak should of mention that before . . . that you have to make a purchase before
: I’m sorry
: Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
: I apologize for the inconvenience, but due to inactivity I will need to close the chat session if a reply is not received in one minute.
KARINA D. has disconnected.

So you had to have had a previous purchase to use the $15 credit.

I just placed my order last night and I have never purchased a thing from Kodak. I paid $5 or so and used both codes I mentioned. I put in the $15 code last. I wonder if that makes a difference?

I ordered two collage mousepads and used the code SWEETRETURN combined with my $15 code and paid 5 bucks for 2! Shipping was $3.99 for both.

Also, had a code emailed to my hubby and was able to order a nice collage mug for only the cost of shipping. LOVE getting this Christmas shopping done without even leaving my home!

Amy I am signing my hubs up tomorrow for a code too!! I want the ornament. Our parents eat this stuff up so I can’t ever have enough…
