the Robitussin coupon I printed said not good on "to go" paks, but I was going to try anyway…LOL. Also, in past weeks there were some TheraFlu printables…

I think it is the same as anywhere- if you are smart I think they respect you. The best is when you get a great cashier that is excited. The bottom line to me is that time is money. I put in the time to save money. Also, personally I am not trying to hustle all the time. Like I might buy 3 free shampoos but I am not going to buy 45 shampoos. I also don't try to use coupons to sneak things past them- I use them as they are intended. The other thing is being polite to other shoppers. I do not hold up the line for 15 minutes while I do 6 seperate transactions. I tell the cashier up front I have coupons, they are organized and ready to go and I only do one transaction at a time if there is a line. Also, if I have a problem with a coupon being refused I just ask them to remove the item from the order and I forget about it. Every deal will come around again, so if I don't get the free deodorant today I will surely get it next week somewhere else. Hope that helps!

    Charlene,

I have trouble using my RRs and coupons together. When I use my coupon I can't use the RRs from my previous purchase. And also if I buy a product, for eg, a 6 dollars product and I wanted to use $3+$2+$1 coupons for it, it's not taking all of them. At last I am ended up paying OOP and lot of RRs left. How can I solve this problem.

    Please help.

Have you read my Walgreens FAQs?

    http://myfrugaladventures.blogspot.com/2009/05/walgreens-basic-faqs-intro-to-register.html

Your problem is probably that you have too many coupons and not enough items. You need to have 1 item for every coupon so in your scenario if you have 1 item and 3 coupons the register will not accept them. The RR is considered a coupon. You need to find "fillers" so that the coupon to item ratio is equal. Let me know if you still have questions after you read the two Wags posts.

I have heard a new one last week at walgreens…It seems I should have more OOP expense than the RR I will recieve. For eg. I should spend atleast $5 to get RR for $6. Is that true? RR did not print for Softsoap as I had spent $1 under total amount of RR I would have recieved. Manager was nice though, came over and printed out $4 Softsoap RR. Have you heard this being mentioned before??
