Walgreens $5/25- Scenarios

I told you about the $5/25 coupon HERE for Walgreens tomorrow and Wednesday. Remember Walgreens is tricky because you have to spend $25 AFTER all coupons- then you can use this one and you will actually spend $20 out of pocket.
.
With all the Register Reward deals this week, you can still make this a great deal. Here are a few ideas- please feel free to post your own scenarios in the comments:
.
{Idea #1}
.
Buy 1 Fusion razor at $8.99
Buy 1 Vaseline lotion at $6.99
Buy 1 Dentek at $2
Buy 1 Halls at $1
Buy Emergenc C at $3.49
Buy Robitussion at $2.49
Buy Oral B at $3
Buy 1 Herbal Essences Shampoo or Conditioner $2.99
Buy 1 Chapstick at $2.99
SUBTOTAL: $33.94
.
Use $4/1 Fusion
Use $1.50/1 Vaseline
Use $1/1 Dentek
Use .75/1 Halls
Use $1/1 Herbal Essences
New total: $25.69- use the $5/25 coupon and pay $21.69 + tax
.
And you will get back a grand total of $31 in Register Rewards for an $11 profit. If you printed the Theraflu coupons, you can also Buy 2 Theraflu at $8- use (2) $2 printables plus the $2 coupon in the Walgreens Healthy Savings booklet. Since the Theraflu is free after coupons, you will actually make another $8 in profit! Click HERE to get all the coupon match ups.
.
If you need diapers:
.
Buy 2 Pampers at $20
Buy 1 Vaseline at $6.99
Buy 1 Fusion Razor at $8.99
Subtotal: $35.98
Use (2) $2 coupons from 8/30 P&G
Use $4/1 Fusion coupon from 9/27 P&G
Use $1.50/1 Vaseline printable
New Total: $26.48- use $5/25 = $21.48
and get back $2.50 from Pampers, $7 from Vaseline and $6 from Fusion, for a net of $5.98!
.
Keep in mind if you do this- you will have a mess of Register Rewards to use up. They typically expire within 2 weeks or so. You also need to be VERY careful rolling the Rewards. For example, if you use the Pampers RR to buy another Fusion razor you will not get a Fusion RR since they are both Proctor and Gamble.
.
You might want to consider rolling the Register Rewards into the Olay rebate I told you about HERE.
.
{IDEA}
Buy Olay Eye Roller at $20 (projected price)
Buy Pantene at $4.99 (projected price)
Subtotal $25.00
Use all those Register Rewards above (you can use 2 RR to pay and then you need to use fillers for every additional RR) and you will get $20 back from Olay.

I'm not sure if it's hit or miss…
I used my Gillette Register Reward to purchase Herbal Essences, and it still printed my Herbal Essences Register Reward. They are both P&G.
