Quick and easy pizza dip recipe, perfect for Superbowl!
Ingredients
  • 8oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (I prefer Newman's Own or find a delicious homemade red sauce here)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano (dried or finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs (or finely chopped basil and parsley)
  • Olives, pepperoni, grape tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place cream cheese and herbs into the bowl of a stand mixer and mix until light and creamy
  3. Add approximately half the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese and mix well to incorporate.
  4. Transfer mixture to the bottom of a pie dish or oven safe baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Pour 1 cup of pizza sauce or tomato sauce over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and add any additional toppings such as olives, pepperoni, veggies, sausage etc... and more herbs or crushed red pepper and salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until cheese starts to brown and bubble.
  8. **I love blistered tomatoes on top. To make these, slice grape tomatoes in half, place on a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle a tiny amount of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for about 30-40 min until they are blistered and ready to burst.
