DIY bath bomb recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup citric acid
  • ½ cup Epsom salts
  • ½ cup Corn Starch
  • 3 tablespoons oil (almond, coconut etc..)
  • water spritzer
  • Essential oils of your choice
  • Soap coloring or pigment
Instructions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk thoroughly to incorporate ingredients together.
  3. Add oil of your choice and again whisk throughly to incorporate.
  4. Add essential oils of your choice- about 5-30 drops depending on how strong you like your fragrance.
  5. Add soap coloring or pigment in the color of your prefer and whisk well.
  6. VERY carefully spritz the mixture with water, whisking as you spritz to avoid a reaction with the citric acid.
  7. After spritzing three times, pick up with mixture in your hand and form a ball. If it crumbles apart, continue adding water one spritz at a time until it holds shape.
  8. Once the mixture forms a ball and holds shape, place a generous amount into a bath bomb mold and secure both sides.
  9. Let dry for several hours and remove from mold.
