Peppermint Coffee Syrup

Quick and easy peppermint coffee syrup for homemade peppermint mochas or hot chocolate.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon Peppermint extract
  1. Mix water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a low boil.
  2. Boil just until syrup is dissolved and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and carefully add peppermint extract.
  4. Stir well and allow to cool.
  5. Store in a mason jar for several weeks.
