Alice.com: 15% off & Support a Worthy Cause

My friend Erin over at Coupon Cravings, has been busy putting together a fundraising event for a family in need.  You can read all about the story here- but essentially this poor family lost their one year old son, Declan, to brain cancer.  The baby left behind a twin and 2 older brothers.

Most of us probably can’t even begin to imagine what this family is going through and to make a heartbreaking situation even worse, they have a mountain of medical bills that resulted from Declan’s care.

So Erin has put together a little fundraising effort to help the family tackle some of the bills they are facing.

She is working with Alice.com, which is an online grocery store.  I have mentioned it previously, you can order a wide variety of items from diapers to laundry soap to postage stamps and have it shipped straight to your door.

If you are new to Alice.com and use the special link Erin has created right here: www.couponcravings.com/dbcalice, they will be donating 3% of the proceeds to the family.

AND they are offering 15% off to you as well!

I use Alice every so often- in fact I just placed an order for postage stamps.  They sell them at face value and if it is your first order you get free shipping on anything.  If you have ordered previously, you get free shipping with 6 items total in your cart.  I like the Healthy Munchy Dried Fruit bags at .69 as a filler for the free shipping.

I don’t think the discount applies to postage but they do have a variety of other items you can choose from.

How heart-breaking! What a generous thing for Erin to do and for you to pass along. Thanks.

I read the story and found the link to DeclansJourney.com where you can make a donation directly if you don’t need anything from Alice.com.
