I kind of hate to post this because I know some of you will be really disappointed but it is such a great offer I wanted to mention it.
Radio Shack has marked down Nook Simple Touch readers to $19.99 online. Now they are sold out but some stores still have inventory.
If you move very fast and have a bit of luck, you might be able to get one of these in store.
Now keep in mind people that do find these might buy every last one to sell on Ebay or whatever so there is a good chance stores will be out already.
You can take a look here and enter your zip code. If it does say in stock in your city, you can always call or drive right over and see what you find.
This thing is about $60 or $7o normally so you would really be getting a crazy good deal.
If anyone does get one at this price, please come back and let us know!

Could this sale be matched at Walmart/Target or something? All the stores the website says have inventory, only have one that is being sold as I’m talking to them 🙁 ….. or they didn’t have one at all. Thank you for the info.

Tabetha,
According to the pice matching policies an item needs to be in stock for a price match. This is not in stock.

I successfully purchased 2 of the Nooks mentioned above using the Best Buy price match. Call first to see if they are truly in stock, print the Radio Shack ad and Best Buy will price match (in store only). I just made my purchase today @ 12:10 pm Pacific time. Good luck

Demetria, I am glad you got a good deal but I just don’t want anyone to get angry. This is like $50 off so I just don’t think many stores will honor that as a price match. Worth a shot I guess but you’d really need some kind of cashier ;).

Heads up, people wanting to do this may need to do some research. The nook enterprise is for sale and based on what I’ve read, if Microsoft does buy it, nook’s may become obsolete in a year.

Charlene, I guess it matters with each individual’s decision. For me I have a tablet but this is small and petite and works for traveling reasons @ $20, I spend that on lunch and snacks so not a huge lost for me. But I had no problem at Best Buy, its there guarantee price match that is promised to the customers.
Jessica, yes I am aware of the Microsoft buy out and again I guess it would be a personal decision and not a persuasion decision. Just matters what one will need or not need. Thanks for mentioning, this would be the reason for the price drop and they will not be sold or made anymore. Thanks ladies

I forgot I didn’t say thanks for listing this deal, I would not have known anything if it wasn’t for your post Charlene you rock!!!
Charlene says
Yes I agree- for $20 you just can’t go wrong.

Print the ad? Where in the ad is it?

I’m just adding my experience.. Walmart did price match with the printed webpage – They only did it as i stated the price in store was the same as the website. They called a local radio shack and verified the price and sold me 2 at 19.97!!!
