Here is something totally random but since it is the season of apples and apple picking, I thought I would mention this.
I bought some apples at Costco today- they have organic apples for $.99-1.62/lb which is a great price. Plus the ones I bought came in these nifty plastic trays.
I was putting the apples away and thinking this was a perfect container to store Christmas ornaments.
And viola! It is the perfect fit for your holiday ornaments! So don’t toss those containers if you happen to get your apples in them this year.
I think this would be a great way to transport popovers, muffins, popcorn balls… all that stuff for parties and such that can be a pain to transport. I am actually making caramel apples for some of the girl’s friends and so I tucked my tray away until those are ready to go.
