I’m planning to get Efferdent (to clean retainers) $3.99. Use printable $1/1. Pay $2.99 & Get $1ECB. Final price $1.99. I’m planning to take advantage of the Special K monthly deal again, by buying Cracker Chips this week. I already did Special K deal 4 times (that’s 12 boxes & 4 $4ECBs printed). Still not indicating “Limit Reached” on Special K.

EC,
I am not sure if the crackers are included. I am going to try and stop at CVS if I can tonight.

What is “ECB” on the speed stick deal?
Charlene says
Val,
That is the little store credits that you get back when you buy items at CVS. You might read this post because it should help a lot:

Thanks. I live in Hawaii. Are Longs coupon policies the same as CVS?
Charlene says
Hmm… I would check your ad tomorrow against this list and see if they match. Our Longs Drugs here in CA were bought by CVS about a year ago and everything completely changed. So I really don’t know. When we had Longs it was not CVS so everything was different.

I think CVS figured out the Biore deal with the coupons. This week, they marked them down to 7.29. I found one at 7.99 and got that plus facewash, did not realize til after everything that it just was not signed correctly.
So 7.29 for all Biore items in the B1G1 coupon, and those 2 alone will not trigger the ECB. Frustrating! I love the pore strips, but they are so expensive! I still think 7.29 for both is really too expensive for me so I am going to return them or buy the 3.99 face wipes to make it trigger.

Natalie,
I am confused on the Biore. It is listed in the weekly ad for $7.50. So are you saying they were not priced at $7.50 but rather $7.29 so you were a few cents shy of the ECB?

First – I LOVE this blog!!! Second – has anyone out there tried the ECB deal on the Special K crakers and/or cracker chips? I know it worked on the cereal, but hadn’t heard anything for this week. TIA – Jen

Special K Cracker Chips Baked Snacks, 4 oz is tagged in my CVS for B3 G4 ECBs and indeed I received my $4 ECB. Cracker Chips rang up $2.50 sale price, and I used the .70-off printable coupons, and everything worked! The flavors I bought: Sea Salt, and a Sour Cream/Onion. Located in Salty Snacks Aisle next to the Crackers. (Don’t get confused. There are Special K “salty” variety (located with chips/crackers) and Special K “sweet” variety (located with cereals). Focus on salty this week if you want sale price and ECB. And I aim for just one Special K ECB per transaction. I will try next time using the $1/2 Special K crackers or chips coupon printed on the back of my SpecialK cereal boxes, and share if that works too.

CVS shelf tag indicating the April Special K ECB Deal is White. I notice that it is hiding UNDERNEATH the sale shelf tags. Look closely 😉

Charlene,
I have noticed CVS doing that on quite a few deals, The last one was for toilet paper or paper towels. I forget the deal, but I bought just like I was supposed to and only later realized they lowered the price and therefore I did not spend enough $ to qualify for the ECB. I went back and looked and they did have the prices marked as the lower amount, but I didn’t pay attention to it.
I was literally .40 short.

Endcapps-
Thanks for posting the Special K deals. I was able to do the cereal and fruit crisp deal last week, although it took a few stores to find the boxes with the coupons on them. I wouldn’t have even known to look for them without your post. I stopped by today and bought 3 cracker chips and they are pretty good. The shelf was not marked with the ECB offer or the sale price, but they rang up $2.50 and the $4 ECB printed. You are right to do separate transactions as two ECB rewards will not print if you buy 6 Special K items in one transaction. That happened to me with the fruit crisps but they printed out the other $4 ECB for me. My receipt still does not say “offer limit reached” so I might use the cracker coupons also. The multigrain crackers look yummy! I appreciate you taking the time to share your findings.
Charlene – I just love your site. I have recommended it to so many people. It truly helps stretch the budget and I’m able to share with others which makes me feel good. Thanks so much!

Laura Mc, you’re welcome! I get so excited & can’t contain myself sometimes. (re: the SpecialK coupons on the box. Don’t you think they look like manuf coupons, so useable @ any store?)

I was looking at the L’oreal deal with the $4.00 off coupon. your deal says to use 3 of them but the coupon that I have that expires on 5/20/12 is for $4.00 off 2. is there something different one I should be looking for?
