This is actually two weeks of groceries and if you can believe it our fridge is seriously bursting right now.

And here is the menu plan for the week:

  • Spinach and Artichoke Pasta w/ salad and french bread
  • Turkey Taco Cups
  • Tomato foccacia with salad
  • Chicken Pot Pie (just to get rid of pie crust from the holidays)

What do you normally eat for breakfast?

Stacy, my husband has cereal. Every morning for about 8 years now ;). I don’t like breakfast so I eat toast or oatmeal or almonds and fruit. We are usually in a hurry so the girls eat Kashi cereal, oatmeal and fruit or Van’s organic waffles, maple syrup and some sort of fruit. My idea is to have eggs and spinach and toast for more energy in the am but then I never have the time to deal with that so I take oatmeal to go in the car :).

I don’t know if you’ve addressed this before, but do you ever highlight the deals with the Costco coupons? Can you ever get those before they come out? What about the unadvertised specials?

Good job on the Organics. So expensive but so worth it if you’re preventing major medical bills or the cost of job loss due to bad health!

Where did the nature sweet coupon come from? Something we can get? Great trips! 🙂

Anna, it was a free offer in my Just 4 U account so if that program is available in your area you can check your account and see if you got it as well. There are more details about Just for U in any of the Safeway weekly posts right at the top of the page.

    Amy, here is the recipe:

Totally out of the blue my little girl decided she likes corn bread. I have never once in her life made corn bread so I found this recipe that uses corn bread and decided to roll with it.
