Here are a few highlights from Target today. Man my store was a madhouse and people were not cheerful to say the least, so hopefully you have a better trip than I did.

I think that is a great price.
Also, there was a gift card deal mentioned in the Target ad this week. Buy 3 items and get a $5 gift card back. As usual, there are A LOT more items included than were listed in the ad so here are two of the highlights:

You can mix and match products to get the items you need. Also, there is still an Olay rebate for $10 back when you spend $30 on Olay items which makes that deal a little better.
One last note, I figured my store would be wiped out of Halloween stuff but I found a TON of Halloween stuff for 70% off today. This will of course be different for each store but it doesn’t hurt to have a look. I got a bag of Blow Pops for Operation Christmas Child boxes for $.74, (2) Pez dispensers in Cars 2 theme for Christmas stockings.
You can see more Target deals for the week here.

I have been SHOCKED by how much Halloween candy is left in the stores around here! I don’t remember there being so much in past years. It was still at 50% when I was at Target last week, but they had SO much left – I’m sure it’s at 70% now.

Same here! We just went today and there was so much left. I got some lollipops and Pez as well. They also had a ton of costumes and decor at 70% off.

Funny! I had the same impression about the halloween stuff still available at my store…costumes and candy at 70% off! I heard a manager saying they had to get the candy out of there to make more room for their Christmas stuff, so I was going ot check back tomorrow. Maybe it will be at 90% off???
Also, be sure to check your women’s clearance clothing department. I found some cute cardigans for $.98! Here’s a link for more details on the cardigans! http://www.savininsonoma.com/2011/11/05/target-2-96-for-two-cardigans/

I have a question about the Target giftcard deals. For example on the Cover Girl deal above…if I buy 6 CG items will they give me a $10 gift certificate (or two $5) or must I buy the 2nd set of 3 CG items in a separate transaction to get another $5 gift certificate?
Charlene says
Ramsey- yes it is sooo easy. You can buy as many as you want in the same transaction or split them up to roll the gift cards.

@ Kelly –
I got a cardigan for $0.98 after my $4 off women’s sweater coupon, too! Such a great deal!
I also used a $3 off Merona women’s top coupon to get a tank top for $1 after the coupon. I had so much fun at Target last week. 🙂
Ramsey says
Thank you Charlene!!! Hope to get to Target tomorrow! 🙂
Lauren Wilhite says
I got 4 bags of pretzel m&ns free plus made $.70 cents per bag!
Grace says
My target has a ton of halloween costumes, mainly adults marked down 90%! I didn’t notice any candy though

Pardon my (vast) inexperience, but what does P&G stand for? And RP? I was hoping to take advantage of that CoverGirl deal today, but I don’t know where to get the coupons.
Charlene says
Ana- if you click on couponing 101 at the top left of the blog you can find the detailed directions you need to sort it out.
