I mentioned in the Safeway Deals this week that POM Wonderful is supposed to be 50% off.
Well I figured the bars would be free or close to free with the $1/1 POM Wonderful coupon and that is indeed the case. The bars are priced at $.99 right now and you can use the $1 coupon to get them free. Make sure you grab the coupon in the center of the screen for any product and not the one that is just for juice.
Personally I never like these types of bars but they do make excellent donation items!
The deal I was more excited for though is on these little Pom Poms. Now I bought a cup last week for $3 at Safeway and the girls and I ate the entire thing in one sitting!
I have been to (2) Safeway stores this week hoping to find them on sale and apparently my stores can’t even get them in stock. They came in last week and they flew off the shelves and now they are backordered.
You might check near the bagged salads or the front end cap of your produce area and see if you can find them. They were $3 last week and I am hoping the price is even better this week- plus you can use that $1/1 POM coupon!
Also I have been looking for cheap Nesquik and I found the pouches for $1.19 at Safeway. There is a .60/1 in 10/16 RP or a $.75/1 Nesquik coupon.
We are trying to get some items together to send to overseas troops and I think these would be great for donation. So they are as low as $.44 each.
I haven’t found a better deal in my area but I am sure some of you may find better prices on the pouches at other grocery stores.
See more Safeway deals for the week here.

Thank you for the tip Charlene. Going to Safeway tonight, so I’ll make sure to snag these.
my wal-mart has them for $1.00 a pouch making them $.40 each
couldn’t print the nesquick coupon. said i already printed too many…even though i’ve never printed it!
Sig, It said that for me and then I tried from a different computer and I was able to print so who knows. I don’t remember printing it but apparently I did.
I have seen the nesquik pouches at Kmart priced at $1.00, not sure if every location is the same but mine has some shelfs in front of the grocery isles which have $1.00 items on them. So just .25cents with the printable. But still with either coupon its a great deal
Shoprite on the East coast has them for $.99, with double coupons = free. I picked up two packets to include in my food bank donation.
