Staples: Free Paper Next Week!

03/18/2011 By Charlene 9 Comments

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

Starting next week, Staples will have HP Colorlok paper on sale for $5.99.  There is a $4.99 rebate available (limit 2) making the price just a buck for premium paper!

There is also a $1/1 HP Colorlok paper coupon available which should make these totally free.

Just click on Office Supplies with your zip code blank to see the coupon.

The great thing about Staples is that the rebate form prints right on your receipt and you can submit online.  You will get a check that you can take to the bank and cash (not store credit).

Remember this deal does not start until Sunday!

(Thanks Deal Seeking Mom!)

Do I just go to the store and buy it and the rebate automatically prints?

Jennifer yes it should print on your receipt. I forgot to mention you need to be part of the free program thing they have:

I had my hubby go to Staples to get this deal, but when he tried to use the coupons the manager told him he couldn’t use them since the rebate was also a manufacturer’s coupon. So he ended up not buying any. This did not make any sense but I guess I will try tomorrow myself.

Oh Amy some of these office supply stores are such a headache. That is nonsense. A rebate is not a coupon. I think sometimes these stores just try to be a pain and of course there is not much you can do because there is no coupon policy.

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the rebate? Or if I can print 4 coupons I can get all 4 on rebate too? The teachers at school have to supply their own paper!

Angela I could have sworn I posted this but maybe I didn’t. I believe the limit is 2 on the rebate.

FYI many Staples take competitors coupons (call before trying). I was able to use a $10 off $20 Office Max coupon, so you might be able to get a really great deal (I was able to use my Office Max coup and 2 MF coups for the paper, really low oop and will get a $10 rebate).
