I just ran into Safeway for my free Wheat Thins today and wanted to let you know that Nivea Lip Balm is indeed .99 again.
So if you print the $2/2 Facebook coupon, you can get 2 for free!
The tag says the sale runs through Jan 4th.
*On another note, I noticed they had several kinds of Method hand soaps on clearance for $1.74. That is actually a great price for those and I am going to keep an eye out and see if they are marked down any lower. You might check and see if your store has them on clearance as well.
What do I do? They wouldn’t accept my “Internet” coupon for the nivea! Who do I call?
Pooh so mad here. I went back in to a new checker and added a filler item so they couldn’t see the negative 4 cents and no problem! Oh and they weren’t even marked at .99 cents. I had to price check it. Blah safeway! And stupid mean store manager yelling at me when I talked nicely and put coupon policy in front of him.
Oh Shira I flipping hate that and honestly there is no one to call because they simply could give a poop about your complaint. If I were in your shoes I would go to U Scan to check out 😉
Regarding the Method soap – I requested a sample of the dishwasher soap a few months back and included were $1 coupons off any Method product. These would make the hand soaps only .74 each!
Thanks for caring with me Charlene! I wish we had Uscan but our safeway is small and they won’t/can’t update it because we live in a small town that wants to maintain downtown history and the building safeway is in has history. 🙁 And driving from ashland to medford safeway in my SUV costs $9 roundtrip defeating the use of the coupons. I just need to stick to my usual managers. I hope he isn’t a new one that’s sticking around.
I hope they don’t fight my $1off coffee mate coupons because I’d NEED that stuff. haha.
Also my 12 days of christmas discount deals were different than yours so I couldn’t get free wheat thins yesterday!!! 🙁 boo hoo!

I had to go to 3 different Safeway stores, the first one was sold out, the second one didn’t sell this item and at the 3 store I got the last two. I had to get a rain check because I had two coupons and I needed to buy two more. The good thing is the coupon expires at the end of the month, so I don’t have to rush back in right away now I have a rain check for the Safeway Sales price.
I had the same problem with Safeway. I’ll be going to another location and give it a shot. I have gotten so many other items for free with no problem. The cashier was rude.
