Went to Food Lion tonight… tried to use a mfg. coupon and a store coupon on the same item. The cashier gave me a hard time. I tried to explain to her that they allow that and I’ve done it tons of times before. She still refused. I asked for a manager and he said, “Well, we’re not supposed to, but I’ll do it this time,” and he forced ’em through. So I came home and looked up Food Lion’s coupon policy and was shocked to see that it says “One coupon per item” and doesn’t say anything about allowing the stacking of coupons. Have I been wrong all this time? I always thought they allowed store and mfg. coupons at the same time. Now I’m bummed…
