Any great deals I missed this week?
roberta says
The Walgreens nearest me is 40 miles away, therefore I don’t like RR since I have to figure in the cost of 80 for gas to redeem them w/in two wks of the purchase. They’re inconvenient and costly. Wish they’d do computer “freebates” like RiteAid used to do.
Katie says
Walgreens is not my farvorite place to shop, but with no Rite Aid I usually brave Walgreens every week. Gotta make sure to spend those rewards before they expire. I know you must have 1 item for each coupon you use, and RR count as manufacturer coupons. What if you have a coupon that is for $3 on 2 items, like the Nivea Body wash. Could you use a RR to pay since you are only using one coupon for 2 items, or will that not work since the coupon is for both items?
Charlene says
Katie- In theory that counts as one coupon so you should be able to use your RR. In reality, I personally have found they won’t work. I usually keep a spare filler on hand and try it without- if there are beeps than I throw the filler in. Does that make sense?
Juli Y says
RR for Gillette product is not pinting. I didn’t see it in the ad so I don’t know if the RR is regional.
Charlene says
Juli- Darn. It is on page 11 of the ad that I did the matchups from. It shows the Gillette and Zest and Old Spice washes and is next to a Conair sale and the John Frieda.
Rachel Durfee says
riteaid is doing freebates this week. Pretty much all month. I try not to do alot of wags because of all the rules. I do have a 4rr and i am seeing how long i can make it last. It is closer for me but sounds frustrating for a newbie.
Teri says
I can not find the $3/2 no where on the coupon site 🙁
Amy says
On page 2 of our WG ad, there is an in-ad coupon for Swanson Chicken Broth, 2/$1. There’s a manufacturer’s coupon in the 9/26 SmartSource for $0.50 off 5. So 40 cents a can for 5 cans of Swanson Chicken Broth.
Amy says
Another deal…tell me if I’m not doing the math right….buy 4 Old Spice body washes priced 3/$10 (or 4/$13.33). Use 2 B1G1F coupons and 1 $1/2 coupon from 9/26 P&G inserts, pay $5.67 out of pocket, get back $3 in RR…so, $0.66 each. That is of course if the planets align and WGs allows you to use all those coupons. I’m not good yet with how to hand the cashier coupons in the right order to hopefully get all the coupons to go through.
Charlene says
Sounds perfect to me Amy 🙂 I’d give the BOGO first I think because worst case you get 4 for $3.66 or .92 each if they won’t let you use that $1/2.
