Amazon has the Corelle Dinnerware set in Winter Frost on sale for $20. They also have a few other color choices for $25.
This is a great price for these and if you aren’t familiar with Corelle you can basically throw these against the wall and they won’t break or chip! Seriously kid friendly dishes!

I have these and I LOVE them! They are super thin and fit nicely in the dishwasher and in the cupboard. My mom has had these for over 10 years… seriously they are indestructible.

They are not breakproof. They used to be advertised that way in the 70s I remember.
I have broken a few bowls before. And the large serving bowl–not part of this set–broke easily.
I have had times when I dropped a plate and it didn’t break also.

Really? My 2 year old literally throws them in the stainless steel sink and not a chip. I suppose nothing is 100% guaranteed but these are about as indestructible as it gets.

I have had these same set of 13 years. They have been dropped on tile, been thrown by my son when he was little and fell out of a cabinet that fell off the wall. Never broke.
They were all in tact. I recently purchased a set in December and they are exactly the same.
It would be rare to break these from my experience.

my mother has had these dishes for 20+ years and i have for 12 years and love them!! they will break if u drop glass items on them or may also break if dropped on ceramic tile. i used to work at kmart in high school and made a few customers and co-workers hearts drop quite a few times by dropping them on the floor from about 4 foot high. seriously worth the investment!!!

I have had a set of Corelle dishes for nearly 30 years! They were a wedding gift. They are not unbreakable, or at least mine aren’t! But they have held up very well otherwise.

haha! I need them then! My little 18 month old likes throwing dishes on the ground!

My grandmother has had the same set for about 19 years now, and she bought them used at a garage sale, they are still going strong. Considering that they made it this far with 7 grandkids, and over 20 great grandkids I think they’re pretty strong.
