Wow- I am going to look into that! What a shame- thanks for the heads up!
It looks like the Special K BOGO offer is gone — hopefully ppl printed the coupons already!
There was a Head & Shoulders coupon in the paper last Sunday (12/27) for $2.00 off when you buy 2
There is a $1.10 off 3 cans of Progresso on coupons.com, if you are planning to do that deal. I usually combine that with a coupon for $.25 off one from my newspaper insert when I have to buy 4 at a time.
There was a coupon in the paper last Sunday {12/27}buy two Vicks product get one Puffs Free !!!
hi,
i’m not able to locate the coupon for the Special K shake, what zip code should i use.
thank you!!!
How do you get the Walgreens activity book? I asked and they had no clue what I was talking about.
What is the walgreens activity book? ๐
Just click on the link to get the information on the book.
Some stores just don’t carry them. I finally found mine after 3 years of looking! You can buy them on Ebay for about $3.
If you can’t find it than it might be gone already. Hopefully most people printed when I mentioned it twice last week for this very reason. There will be a good deal at Target tomorrow too with these coupons.
Hello!
Writing from WI here, about 20 miles from Milwaukee. My Walgreens (and I checked 2) did not have the Reach toothbrushes or floss below $4, they were over $5…darn!
Thanks,
Annalisa
Ok thanks Annalisa, it is not unusual for Walgreens to raise prices for a sale. Frustrating.
Hi,
I just got back from Walgreens and I tried to get the Stayfree and the Reach toothbrush and floss deal. They were the right prices so I was excited to get some free! I gave the manufacturer coupons first because there were a few BOGO coupons and then the Walgreens coupons. The cashier (and the manager) said they have to do the walgreens coupon first and then the manufacturer coupon. They both said it’s a new corporate policy. This means no more free stuff. The math for the stayfree looked like this:
2 stayfree @ $6.29 each
use walgreens coupon- takes $3 off each
use BOGO coupon (only takes off $3.29)
final cost $3.29 for both packs
It was the same story for the reach toothbrush and floss. I left that store and went to another one and got the same story. It’s a new company policy and they WON’T do the manufacturer coupons first. Has anyone else had this problem? I live in West Michigan.
Thanks!
Becky
I went today and attempted to use a $1/2 Q along with a Register Reward to buy 2 items. (2coupons/2items should have gone through) I had to buy a 3rd item to be able to use the register reward. The check out lady told me too that they have ‘tightened’ up the way they do their coupons.
No Dina those $1/2 coupons are tricky. They attach to both items so even though you have 1 actual coupon it counts as 2 coupons. It is such a headache sometimes with all the quirks. That used to not be the case but I noticed it happened to me a few months ago and figured it out.
Becky, I just have to laugh at all the “new policies”. I think these stores just make them up and claim it is new because I seriously get emails every week from people telling me about “new policies” from their stores. Personally my overall impression from Walgreens in general is that they are making it harder and harder on couponers for whatever reason. My store has started treating me so rudely I pretty much won’t shop there anymore. Do you have a Rite Aid or CVS nearby? They seem to be making it so easy on us I am shopping there almost exclusively now.
Did anyone else not have the electrosol coupon in their newspaper? I was disappointed when I didn’t see it in either paper I bought today!!
I was able to use the stayfree BOGO coupon and the walgreens $3.00 off. The girl at the register scanned the $3 off each one first and then still gave me the 6.49 off for the BOGO, if they do have new policies either she didn’t know about them or didn’t care (young girl that seemed like she did not want to be there working at all lol)
Kristine, like you I didn’t have the electrosol coupon either. I had a Finish coupon that was for 2.50 off but I can’t find a good deal for Finish. Darn.
Rebecca, Electrosol and Finish are the same brand, basically Electrosol IS finish, so you are fine. I didn’t have anything in my papers ๐
I went to 2 WAGS today and they had the Reach for reg. price @ $4.19 but they still gave the BOGO as $4.19 even though coupon says max $3.99. Also the Stayfree were $6.29. First WAGS we went to ended up giving us a hard time about all the seperate transactions and then a mgr came b/c then the cashier all of a sudden didn’t want to scan my mgrs first and wags 2nd. So the mgr came and gave us worse time so we left and went to another one where the cashier was so nice and didn’t have any problem with coupons/order/seperate transactions. I’ll try to go there more often but most times they don’t have what I’m looking for.
Frizz Ease can possibly be a money maker. I noticed that several of my Walgreens had the Frizz Ease Weather Proofing shampoos and conditioners on clearance. Some stores rang up at $1.79, some at $3.59, and one store rang up at $5.00. The $5 RR printed no matter how much I had to pay for the products, so I made money at some stores.
my walgreens had the weather works on clearance around $3.50. I think I may go back and buy a couple and see if it prints up the RR.I really like the john frieda products anyways.
I did the stayfree for 6.29 x 2, used B1G1 coupon as well as wag cpn which took off 6.00. So I paid .29 for 2 48 packs of stayfree. Did the Reach deal too and got 2 for free. The neosporin deal will not work as the wag coupon is for the 1 oz pack which is priced @ 7.99. Also, for all of those looking for the Children’s Activity coupons, there are quite a few of them in the Walgreens circular on page 14. Thanks a bunch Charlene!! My Walgreens in Az has a lot of bonus packs for the J&J baby products too…..
I didn’t have the electrasol coupon and the bounty paper towel coupon was only for $0.25 off not $1. I live in a small area, but I should still be alowed decent coupons.
I did get the Finish coupon, but I was bummed because we did not get any Red Plum inserts in our paper. There were so many BOGO coupons that I had wanted to use.
