Here is another thing to be on the hunt for at CVS! A little coupon that looks like the image above that is good to DOUBLE your ECBs on one transaction from 11/1-12/15! Now I am sure this is tracked by card so you can only use it once but what a great deal!! You can use this on Black Friday to really clean up.
The ECBs are available to use in January and the coupon states:
“Just present this certificate once at the register between November 1 and December 15, 2009, and your double Extra Bucks will be added to each of your receipt totals. They’ll be available for you to redeem on your first visit in January.”

I heard that this is NOT doubling ECBs. It doubles your extra bucks quarterly reward which is normally 2%. So if you use the certificate you’ll get 4% back.

Hmm.. Let me ask Melissa because she got the actual coupon at CVS. Also she said she used the same thing last year and got $60 in ECBs on Black Friday.
I found this coupon cardboard hang-tag thing in the oral hygiene section.
My understanding in reading the back of it is that you only need to have it scanned one time, then it is registered with your card. The cashier kept my coupon after he scanned it. Then all your purchases in the timeframe that earn ECBs will earn double. That “double” will be printed out on a receipt after January 1. The item that I purchased last week that earned an ECB said “Double Extra Care Reward” on the recipt under the line item. I hope this all made sense! LOL!
I got one of those in my Sunday circular and in the fine print it said something like “does not apply to circular ECB’s.” I puzzled over it for a while and then decided that it meant what Jenna said. I sure hope that’s what it meant, since I went to CVS last night to pick up some envelopes and used it then!
