Is the Tag only on clearance @ Target in Sacramento? I went to Target today w/my $10.00 off coupon excited to get such a great deal and they weren't on clearance 🙁

The new models are going to be full price. You need to look for the older models that are going to be the clearance ones. That is why I provided the numbers to check your store's inventory. The entire country has had them marked down to 75%- not just California.
Karla, isn't Kmart on the East Coast? The Tag deal is nationwide at Target and the books have been spotted at various Kmart stores around the country.
Got four books at my south florida Kmart for .80 each! Also got the tag system at target for 2.48!
I got two books at our Kmart for .80 and got the tag reader last night at our Target for 2.48! I live in Michigan, so it's all happening here too!

I got the reader at my Target last night (I'm in Michigan) and am going to scope the books out at Kmart this afternoon. My printer at home isn't working so I can't print the book coupons but I'm going to see what kind of selection they have and maybe even pick some up anyway!
I found these at my Kmart today! They were $4.80 so 80¢ after coupon AND I got a catalina for $5/1 Any leapfrog toy, book, games and does NOT exclude clearance! AND IT ROLLS! I got 3 today!! I was able to get some great leapfrog stuff for CHEAP!
We scoped out our local Kmarts and Target in upstate NY. Target is now stocked with the new Tag readers. Kmart had the old readers for $40.00. So maybe they'll go lower soon. I got one at Toys 'r Us the other day for $20.00. Still hoping to find some more great deals. I'd love them for my classroom.
My Target in MD had the readers on clearance for $12.48, but not marked as such; however, there were only 3 left. I can't wait to check tomorrow at Kmart for clearanced books!!!
I am so excited because got the Target reader for $2.48 (and I didn't even have to pay that because I got the Special K gift card last week). I thought it would be a good gift since my son is too young but then I went to KMart and got three books so I am keeping it. The reader (with a book) and three other books for $6 instead of the $100 retail. I went to a second Target and no luck on getting a second reader (for the gift I was planning for Christmas). I went to a second Kmart and got lots of clearance Leap Frog toys with my $5 catalinas since someone said to ring the books individually so I had 3 coupons. I got the Learn Along Lily and Learn Along Leap for $0.88 each with tax. I also got the Baby Counting Pal Plush for under $5 and another DVD reading system for under $5. I still have two more $5 catalinas because a few more printed out while I was checking out five times at the second store :)I just sent the information to my mom so that she can check out the Kmart in her area. Thanks for all of the pointers and help! I hope that lots of people find this wonderful find at their store.
