I just posted phase one of the deals we will see at Kmart next week. I still have pages of notes to sort through so it will easily double by Sunday.
If you are new to Kmart doubles- Kmart will double coupons up to $2 from 8/16-8/22. It is an incredible way to purchase items for free or nearly free after coupon. Not all stores will allow for doubles- I think most of the South is excluded from this event but we will know for sure tomorrow exactly which stores are participating.
You might want to scan the list now and start printing the coupons for products you know you will want. The printables might not be available once you are ready to plan your trip.
Since Kmart requires a $25 minimum purchase (before coupons) you need to spend a little time planning, but it is surprisingly easy to get your subtotal over $25. I will have a step by step guide ready to help you maximize your dollars. You do not need to actually spend $25- in fact it is very possible you will actually spend a few dollars (or less!) depending on what you need.
I will also have matchups for the coupons coming in this weekend’s paper so you can be prepared to get extra copies if needed.
I plan my trip by scanning through the list and determining what I want to get. I either cut and paste those deals onto a word doc or I just jot them down on paper. These lists can be massive so unless you want to do some serious shopping I wouldn’t print the whole thing (But I am cheap with ink).
