Honestly, if anyone had told me how fun CVS was before I might have been tempted to drive the 6 hours to So CA every week!
Here is today’s trip:
CVS Liners .89- got .89 in ECBs
Head and Shoulders $4.99 each- used B1G1 coupon and $2/1 coupon- got $4 in ECBs back
(the cashier accidentally took off $5.99 instead of $4.99 for the free shampoo)
Milk $2.29- used .50 Real CA milk coupon
I also used the $5 ECB from my FREE cereal trip this week
Paid $.22 and got $4.89 back! YOWZA!
(We don’t normally buy this shampoo but my pediatrician recommended it for getting rid of cradle cap on babies.)
Holy cow! Milk where you are cheaper then where I am even before the coupon. I pay around $3.45 for 2% gallon.
Isn't it great! I love CVS- I think I cut our grocery bill in half this past year with just shopping the deals there! ๐
I have been falling in love with the CVS too! I got $56 worth of stuff today and after ECB, a $5 of $25 from the machine, and coupons it cost me $2.46. Plus I have $20 in ECBs for next week . . . it is way more fun than Walgreens. Plus they are super coupon friendly!
side note from coupons – I've heard head and shoulders works good for cradle cap too. I was worried it would be too harsh for my baby's scalp, so I never tried it. What I did was use the Johnson baby oil gel (which I'm sure you can find a coupon for ๐ ) and smothered it on my baby's scalp a few hours before bath time and then after the bath take a soft bristled brush and you just brush away the flakes. It was completely cleared up after 3 days of doing that. I'm interested to hear how the head and shoulders does though – ya know, for my future babies. ๐
I love CVS too! I went last week and got $66 worth of stuff for 56 cents!! The cashier was amazed! I used my coupons, ECBS, and a 5/25. Plus I also received $11 in ECB for next time.
Also, if head and shoulders doesn't work, try olive oil. My daughter's pediatrician recommended that, and it got rid of the cradle cap.
