This week I was hoping to only spend about $15 on groceries since I splurged on some drug store items (hurry up and send my rebates Rite Aid!) and I have to get 40 lbs of dog food. Since our budget is only $35 the dog food is always a budget buster. So thank heaven we still have a ton in the pantry and I only bought a little produce this week. I have a Wags gift card that I will use for milk. Here is what is on the menu this week:
MON: Out to dinner w/ parents
TUES: Burgers and grilled corn with rosemary butter
WED: Garlic Cheddar Chicken with frozen veggies
THURS: Green Salad with Cheesy Grilled Zucchini
FRI: Dinner with Family
SAT: Skillet Apple Chicken with green salad
SUN: Homemade BBQ Chicken pizza
Amazingly most of this is from the $12 trip to Safeway today. The only pantry items are flour etc.. for the pizza dough and the last of our burgers/buns. For more great ideas visit Menu Planning Monday at OrgJunkie!
Oh! That Garlic Cheddar chicken looks and sounds so yummy! Will have to try that soon!
The Skillet Apple chicken looks good!
I’m going to remember this zuchinni for when ours starts coming out of our ears!
I found your blog through org. junkie. The garlic chicken looked so yummy, I changed my dinner plans for the night and made it instead. It was so delicious! Thank you for sharing your menu plan!
