Recyclebank: 35 More Points!

11/10/2011

Recylebank has three new programs available to earn additional points.  If you are new here, you can learn more about Recylebank here.

The first new program is sponsored by Q-tips and is designed to help you learn about how to compost paper scraps and organic waste.  This will get you 25 points!

  • Once you’ve registered or logged in, click on the Q-tips logo in the middle of the home page.
  • This will open up a new window, scroll down to where it says “Earn Information” and click “Get Started.”
  • It will take you through a short video, where you will have to answer one question and drag some items into a compost bin.
  • Finally, you will take a pledge to start composting and earn 25 points!

Kashi brings you the “Grab Your Mug and Go Challenge.”  This one is super easy and will award you 10 points!

  • Click on “Take the Challenge”
  • Click through a couple screens – no quizzes or anything – and you get 10 easy points!

All these points can then be exchanged for high value coupons, gift cards and more!  Right now you can get a $2 off any Kashi item coupon for 75 points.  You’re a good portion of the way there just by spending a couple minutes working through the tasks above.

Recyclebank: 55 New Points

06/22/2011

You can get 55 points from Recyclebank right now. Just a reminder that is a great program to participate in because you earn points and then redeem them for high value coupons or even gift cards.

Some of my favorite coupons include: $1 off Honest Tea (makes it free all the time), $2 off Kashi products, Free Happy Baby product of your choice, $1 off any Coke item and lots more.

So to get the new batch of 55 points requires a few simple steps:

  • Register or Log into your Recyclebank account
  • Click back to the homepage and click on the banner pictured above.
  • Click on Travel in the top left corner.
  • Click on all the items that are floating around- suitcases, trains, cars, boats, clouds etc..
  • Each item will have a point value.  Make sure your pop up blocker is off and you should be able to rack up points in just a few minutes.

And you can click on Earn More Points for other easy ways to earn points.  Be sure to check under redeem points for food and beverage.  In my city, there are coupons available for $10 off a $50 purchase at a few local grocery stores!  If you find a coupon that is printable, be sure to hit the back bar and some of them will allow a second print!

(Thanks Saving with Shellie)
