I have two fun Valentine ideas for you for this year. This year I was trying to find fun ideas for my 8 year old and my 10 year old. Our main issue with so many Valentines is the wording- my girls absolutely refuse to hand out any Valentine that expresses love or affection for the boys in their class. No chance.
There will be no “You have my heart!” “I only have eyes for you” or even “Will you be my Valentine.” Nope. Not a chance.
So this Valentine is simple and easy and gender neutral. You can add a real treat like I did with this kettle corn popcorn or you can add the healthier versions of plain popcorn. Kids love popcorn and this option gives them something to eat besides candy.
I picked up large bags of Angie’s Cheese Popcorn and Kettle Corn from the grocery store and just poured about a cup into party bags but Trader Joes, Costco or most grocery stores also have large bags or the individual bags of popcorn to make things even easier.
We added a few pink sprinkles from Michael’s – the little hearts are very cute.
Just print the little tags and tie them to your treat or tape them on the front of an individual bag.
And all done! Just poppin’ by to say you are awesome. And you totally are! Thirty of these coming your way 5th grade class.
PLEASE NOTE: This is for personal use only and not for resale. Thank you!
And to keep things super simple, you can order popcorn right here from Amazon
