I have been trying to come up with a unique Father’s Day gift for my hubs that wasn’t too expensive and then I saw this offer from Groupon today!

There is a full day white water rafting trip available in my city for $59 today- normally $119.

My husband is going to love this (and thank goodness he doesn’t read MFA) and $59 is totally worth a very unique experience.

So I am excited and if you haven’t checked out Living Social or Groupon you might see what offers come up in your city!  I have a feeling they will have a lot of Father’s Day themed activities in the next week.

Barnes and Noble is offering selected children’s and adult books at a great price right now- get 3 for $9.99!

It looks like shipping is about $6 unless you spend $25 in which case it is free.

You can try codes: Y8H7P3C for 15% off  or Y3V4U3X for 30% off if you have other shopping to do.  I don’t think it will work for the 3/$9.99 sale.

This might be a good time to select the summer reading books for the kiddos!  Don’t forget the free books you can get from Barnes and Noble and Borders !

Well there is a really deal available right now at Catherines.com. They are offering a $20 off a $25 purchase promo code: 777006560.

Now this is a plus size store but I tested this on the wallet and socks above and it did work for me. The items I selected had free shipping and it looks like you can also select free ship to store.  (EDITED: I think the shipping might be $7 unless you pick it up in store.)

They have Buy One Get One 50% off jewelry as well.

I will warn you now these are absolutely not super cheap deals but I like to post items that are just good deals every so often for those that want to splurge a little.

Today 6pm.com has designer sunglasses on sale- these are not inexpensive but I think they are a great price for the brands you get like Theory and Lucky brand.  I was thinking a teenage girl that is graduating might really like a great pair of sunglasses.  You can click HERE to have a look.
