If you don’t have a secret homemade hamburger seasoning recipe up your sleeve, you might try this one. It makes a WORLD of difference on your burgers and literally takes just a second to put together.
You can even make bigger batches and keep this on hand for summer grilling.
I am a vegetarian and my husband mixes this up and puts this on my Veggie Burgers too- it really amps up the flavor. The little salt shaker I use for my homemade seasoning is from the Dollar Store.
This is super budget friendly- you probably have these ingredients on hand and you will notice a big difference in your burgers. It is so worth mixing this up- I really hope you try it.
- Paprika
- Cayenne
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Add ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- and ½ teaspoon onion powder
- and ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (use ¼ teaspoon if you don't want as much kick)
- and 2 teaspoon paprika
- and black pepper and sea salt to taste.
- I do about 4-5 twists of each.
- Stir together and that is it! Easy peasy.
So this is super simple to put together and it will compliment a variety of burger recipes. If you are in the mood for something a little more decadent add a little A-1 or Worstershire sauce (or both!)
Yummy!
I’d love to hear if you try this and what you think!
