I have a few fun giveaways this week and here is the first one.

A&E is sponsoring an In Law survival kit to promote a new TV series called Monsters in Law. Now I know many of of us- including me- have wonderful in-laws, but apparently that is not the case for everyone.

So the TV show premiers on Monday 24th at 10pm on A&E Networks. Here is the description of what the show is about:

“Monster In-Laws” features real-life married couples as they reveal their relatable in-law problems. I have a quick giveaway for the upcoming release of The Lion King Bluray and DVD combo pack. This is a re-release of the movie and it will be available 10/4 to purchase.

One winner will get a free copy of the movie and it should arrive on Oct 4th or very close to the 4th.

I got to watch the movie over the weekend and I really loved it. This is one we will be adding to our collection for sure and both of my girls enjoyed watching this as well.

I typically put family movies on and then I have a habit of doing other things- like emails, sorting my coupons, reading magazines etc… but this movie kept drawing me back in which is saying a lot.

I have a really fun little giveaway for those of you with little ones. Hallmark is providing a package of their newest products to make the transition back to school a little more fun.

The giveaway includes:

Recordable Hallmark Storybook (in your choice of Counting Kisses, Guess How Much I Love You or All The Ways I Love You.)
These books can be recorded and as you turn each page, the child will hear your voice reading them a story. These books are priced at $30.00 and there are tons of titles to choose from from Cars 2 to Princess to Thank You God for Everything.

We received the Counting Kisses book to check out and I really do love these books.  I recorded this one for my little Maya for when she is “helping” me make dinner.  She always wants me to read books and well.. that isn’t condusive with cooking so this comes in handy.  These are absolutely perfect for those of you with loved ones that are far away, on business trips or deployed because the children can still hear Mommy/Daddy/Grandpa etc.. reading them a book every night.

I have the “I Love You Grandma” book on my list to buy this year.  It is a book that your child can record as a gift for Grandma.  My mother in law lives in Seattle and she only gets to see the girls once a year so I think having this kind of thing for her to hear their little voices is totally worth the $30.

Lunch Notes for Kids. So this is a little packet of notes that you can tuck away into a lunchbox for the kids to be surprised at school.  Now I thought two things when I first heard of these- 1. I should really do that and 2. Those are kind of expensive.

These are priced at $6.95 which in my head I was thinking- well I can make those myself for free.  I will tell you after actually looking at them- these little notes are seriously cute.  You get 50 in a pack and they say things that I would never come up with on my own like:

“Be Good. Be Nice. Be Yourself. Nobody Does You Better Than You.”

So I tend to be a very sappy person when it comes to my kids and I think this kind of thing is fantastic.  I think these are cute for school aged kids or I think those of you with teenagers that can be less than delightful from time to time might consider taping these to the mirror for them as a surprise.  Those of you that have kids that recently left for college might like these too for little care packages throughout the year.

You also get 3 of the new Kid’s Collection greeting cards to use throughout the school year.

I have a fun giveaway for this morning. If you are a coffee drinker like I am, you might be a fan of Coffeemate creamers. Well Coffeemate has a new product called Natural Bliss. These are 16oz containers and they come in 3 flavors: caramel, vanilla and sweet cream.

These creamers are made with cream, sugar and milk and don’t have any artificial ingredients. Now I happen to be very particular about coffee creamer and I am not a fan of overly sweet flavors or super rich and synthetic tasting flavors. I did get a chance to try the sweet cream variety recently and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I found it was nice and creamy but it wasn’t too rich. There is sugar in this creamer so it is sweet and I found just a touch was absolutely perfect.

I would absolutely buy this product myself and it retails for $2.49 at my Target.

This is a promotion for the new tv series called Against the Wall where a Chicago police officer is promoted to detective for Internal Affairs.  This creates some conflict with her family of fellow police officers.
