There is a new Purina Puppy Chow coupon for $2 off any bag. I wanted to mention a deal starting next week at CVS that makes the bags a really good deal.

The 4-4.5 bags of Dog Chow or Puppy Chow are priced at $5.00
Get a $5 ECB when you spend $20 (limit 1)

{Deal Idea}
Buy 4 Puppy Chow at $5.00
Use (2) $2/1 Purina Puppy Chow coupons (must register)
and Use (2) $2/1 Purina Puppy Chow printable
Pay $12.00 and get $5 ECB back.

Final Price: $7.00 for 4 bags or $1.75 each! That works out to about $.43/lb.

There are a few other items in the Spend $20 get $5 ECB, so you can also mix and match if you don’t need 4 bags.

Here are some of the coupons printing from the CVS Coupon Scanner this week. Note these are random coupons so you are not guaranteed to get them. You will want to keep scanning your card until the machine tells you no more coupons are available.

• Always 20ct Liners- Free!
• $5 off $50 Olay, Old Spice, Clairol or Crest (this is actually a good one to do with that rebate and the ECBs on Olay this week)
• Orbit Gum $1 off

Did anyone else get good ones worth noting this week?

Also, I think this might be the last shot at the gas card.  So here is an idea:

Buy 2 Visine Drops $5.98 for both
Buy 4 Tide Laundry Soap Powder at $5.94 each
Buy 1 Dawn Dish Soap at $.99
Total: $30.73
Use:
(2) $3 off Visine Coupons
and Use (4) $2/1 Tide Powder from 7/17 SS (these expire 8/31!)
and Use $.50/1 Dawn from 8/28 P&G
Pay: $16.23 and Get $10 Gas Card
Final after Gas Card: All for $6.23 including 4 Tide!

Here is another idea for those that don’t like powder soap:

Buy 4 Tide Liquid at $5.94
Buy 2 Visine at $5.98 for both
and Buy Dawn Dish soap at $.99
Use (2) $3 Visine Coupons
and Use $.50/1 Dawn soap from 8/28 P&G
and Use (4) $1/1 Tide Detergent from 7/31 P&G (expires 8/31!)
Pay $20.23 and get back the $10 gas card

That makes the net price $10.23 and is like paying $2.55 per Tide and you get the Visine and soap free!

Either way this is a great time to stock up on Tide if that is your favorite!

And one quick note, if you happened to get the Free Hershey’s Air Delight when you buy a Hershey’s Bar in the 8/28 SS, I would hold onto that coupon.  Starting next week at CVS, the Air Delight is .99 with a $.99 ECB back (limit 1).  So you could buy a Hershey’s Bar at $.99, use the coupon to get a second bar free and still get back the $.99 ECB.

Wowee, you might want to grab the Edge coupon I mentioned earlier because there will be a seriously good deal starting next week (7/24).

Buy $20 worth of select Schick or Playtex products, Earn $10 in ECBs (Limit 1)
Buy 2 Edge Shave Gels – $2.49 each
Buy 2 Schick Hydro Razors – $7.99 each
(Total of $20.96)
Use TWO 55¢/1 Edge Shave Gel Printable Coupons
AND use TWO $4/1 Schick Hydro Razors coupons from the 6/12 SS (**EXPIRES Sunday 7/24!)
Pay $11.86 out of pocket, Get back $10 in ECBs
.46¢ each after coupons and ECBs!!

That is a crazy good deal! If you don’t have anymore of those Schick coupons, you might grab the $3/1 Schick Hydro razor coupon from Facebook.  That makes your net price $.96 per item.

**If you are new to shopping at CVS this could be a great starting transaction for you.  I would recommend registering for the CVS emails now and you should have a $4/20 CVS coupon in your email.    You can use that $4 coupon first and this turns into a moneymaker for you!

CVS has Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen on sale this week and it is generating a $5 ECB.

Apparently the sticks that look something like the one pictured (I don’t know exactly which ones) are priced at $6.99. You might get lucky and find a coupon attached to the product for $2 off, in which case the product will be free!

The limit is 1 on this offer but I am going to go check this out.  We always need sunscreen and I think even $1.99 is a good price!

There are a few extra deals at CVS this week:

I got a $1/2 CVS Brand First Aid product at the CVS Coupon Scanner.  The boxes of CVS Band Aids are $1 this week- so .50 each after coupon.

Some people are also getting $3/2 M&Ms coupons from the scanner.  I didn’t get this coupon but if you get lucky they are 2/$4 this week so $1 for 2 bags after coupon!  There is also a Buy 2 Get One Free coupon in 5/2 RP so that makes 3 bags for just $1!

Also, the Nivea deal is still running all month.  Spend $15 in Nivea and get $5 ECB.  You can do this 5 times.  The prices have been raised on the products- my store had women’s Body Wash and Shower Gel for $5.99 and Men’s for $4.99.
