Add 1 cup fresh apple cider to a sauce pan and simmer on medium for about 10 minutes until it reduces down to about ¼ cup. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
Add in sugar, butter and cream. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil.
Stir constantly for about 2 minutes- sauce should be thick and bubbly. Be careful not to burn!
Remove from heat and transfer to a mason jar and allow to cool completely.
