Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie {Copycat Pizookie}
- 1 stick butter- softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1½ cups Quaker old fashioned oats
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add butter and sugars to mixer and mix until fluffy.
- Add vanilla and egg to mixer and mix just until incorporated.
- Add flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda in a small bowl and slowly add to butter mixture on low speed.
- Next add oats and mix until incorporated.
- Slowly mix in chocolate chips and mix just until incorporated- do not overmix.
- Pour mixture into a skillet and press gently to fit.
- Bake at for about 15 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven, slice into pie shaped pieces and top with ice cream, caramel or chocolate drizzles.
