Cinnamon Swirl Bread Recipe

Quick and easy cinnamon swirl bread.
Ingredients
  • ¼ Cup Vegetable oil or Canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk milk (or use regular milk and add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice)
  • 2 cups Flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Filling:
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup sugar
Instructions
  1. Mix the first 7 ingredients together until well blended. (I do this in my Kitchenaid with the paddle attachment.)
  2. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare the filling mix by adding sugar and cinnamon to a small bowl and stir.
  4. Pour approx. 1 inch of batter in the bottom of the pan.
  5. Sprinkle on the sugar mixture.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 until everything is used ending with the sugar mixture (basically you are layering batter then sugar mixture ).
  7. Bake @ 350 for 30-55 min (depending on your oven)
