Target: 3 First Aid Items + Bag $1.97

05/20/2012

I wanted to update the Free First Aid bag deal from Target this week since I think it is a nice deal.

They ran this promotion last year but this year I think the bags are actually really nice.  If you need a little first aid bag for the car or for camping or whatever, this could be a great deal.

I actually got one of these to hold DVDs in the car for my girls.  Since the bag is so slim, I think it will tuck nicely into the pocket of the seat.

At my store there were a variety of first aid items included and here are a few deals:

Children’s Bandaids are $2.54
Use the $.50/1 Bandaid coupon
Final Price: $2.04

Flexible Bandaids are $2.64
Use the $.50/1 Bandaids coupon
Final price: $2.14

Johnson and Johnson Guaze Pads $1.49
Use $1/1 Red Cross item from 4/15 SS
or use $1.50/2 from 5/13 SS (limit 1 coupon per person)
Final Price: as low as $.49
*Note: these were $1.57 on the shelf but the same box was $1.49 on the display above

You can obviously mix and match whatever items you might need. The best deal looks like this:

Buy 3 Johnson and Johnson Guaze Pads at $1.49
Use  $1/1 Red Cross coupons (limit 1 per person)
and Use $1.50/2 Red Cross coupon (limit 1 per person)
Pay $1.97 for all 3 plus that free first aid bag

And one last note, I suggest checking the aisles for tags indicating the free bag. I bought (2) Disney Princess bandaids and (1) Muppets bandaids. The Muppets were not marked therefore not included in the promotion so the bag was not free.

When we traded the Muppets for a 3rd box of Disney princess bandaids, the price of the bag came right off.

You can check the coupon database for other coupons you might need.  My store had Benadryl, Up and Up items and Neosporin as part of this deal as well.

PS: Perfect fit for the car!  Crayons- check. Extra hairclips and rubberbands- check! Small coloring book- check! DVDs- check!

Target: Jennie-O Turkey Burgers $4.99

05/20/2012

You can currently grab Jennie-O Turkey Burgers for just $4.99 at Target!

Here’s how it will work:
Buy Jennie-O Turkey Burgers at $6.99
Use $2/1 Jennie-O Turkey Store Frozen Burgers Printable (use zip code 90210)
Final Price: $4.99

There are 12 quarter pound burgers in each package making these about $1.66 per pound, which is an excellent price!

As always, this was the price at my local store so you hopefully the same deal will be available at your store as well.

You can see the rest of this week’s Target deals here.

Here are two fast updates from Target today.

Banana Boat: I was hoping the lip balm would be included in the gift card deal but no such luck.

I did find Banana Boat Aftersun for $4.99
Use $1/1 Target coupon for Banana Boat Sport item
and Use $2/1 from 4/22 SS
or Use $1/1 from 5/13 SS
Pay as low as $4.98 and get back a $5 gift card
Final Price: Free!!
*If you can use (2) Target coupons this turns into a small moneymaker!

You can mix and match with the sunscreen as well.

I mentioned the great deal on Kid’s shoes and wanted to make a note that this could possibly be a better deal then we thought!

Just to recap, the children’s shoes are 20% off this week plus there is a Buy One Get One 50% off Target coupon to use on top of that.

I bought 2 pairs of shoes, one priced at $11.89 and one priced at $14.99. I used the Buy One Get One 50% off coupon and the 50% off came off the higher value item!
So I expected 50% off the $11.89 pair but actually I got $7.50 off!

Reader Sophie bought a pair of the Jibbitz by Crocs for $10 and a pair of flip flops for $5 and she found the same deal- the coupon took $5 off her total not $2.50!

So again there are no promises on this- it should be the lower value item that gets the 50% off but you might be in for a nice surprise when you shop!

Stay tuned for more Target deals coming soon.

In the meantime, you can check out the new Target coupons that popped up today!

If you are heading to Target today you might keep an eye out for a free sampling event.

This may not be available at every store but it doesn’t hurt to keep an eye out if you go.

I did find this at my store this morning- there were the coupon books above plus free samples of sunscreen, a $1 off sunscreen coupon and a sample back of Belvita cookies.

I could have very easily missed this if reader Sophie hadn’t mentioned it to me.

The sampling booth was only at one entrance and was sort of tucked in a corner.  I actually walked in the other entrance and nothing was there.  When we were leaving we went out the other door and noticed the little booth.

There are several nice coupons in the booklet including a $3 off 2 Kingsford charcoal which goes perfectly with the gift card deal this week!

Thanks Sophie!

New Target Coupons

05/20/2012

Here are a whole bunch of new Target coupons for today.  These are all Target coupons so they can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon for a better deal.

The one I am happy to see is 15% off kids’ apparel items.  I don’t see any exclusions on the coupon so any brand or even clearance items should work.

The bathing suits are on sale this week so that will make those a fantastic deal.  Don’t forget the great deal on kid’s shoes as well!

Click below to see the complete list of coupons.

Target has a bunch of patio furniture available online at discounted prices today.

I thought this cantilever umbrella was a good deal at $210 and your shipping is free. This thing is 74 lbs so having it sent to your home is a great bonus.

Head over to Target.com to have a look.

**Update:  I believe this is the same umbrella I saw in store today for $299.

Target: 70% off Dollar Spot!

05/19/2012

If you are heading into Target tomorrow you might check out the Dollar Spot.

I have heard from a few readers that the Dollar Spot has items at 70% off right now so most things are just $.30!

I love these clearance sales to stock up on little bracelets, socks, coloring books, toys etc… that are perfect for Operation Christmas Child boxes.

It can be great for little party favors or things to keep the kiddos busy this summer too!

If you do find clearance signs just make note of what color the dots are and then look at the back of the items to see exactly what is on sale.  Usually they have a mix of stuff on clearance and not on clearance.

PS:  Here is what I found… Monogram stickers for envelopes $.30, napkins $.30 (I use these in the girl’s lunchboxes and I send a pack to school when it is our turn for snack), gift bags $.30, storage tins $.30- using one for crayons to keep in the car and one for bandaids to keep in the car, and a trash can for $.75.

That trash can I might use for toys or I like to roll up beach towels and put them out when we have pool parties… I could use it for extra TP in the girl’s bathroom too…

Target Coupon: 15% off Sporting Goods

05/19/2012

I don’t know if this coupon is new or if it just slipped past me last week.

Regardless I thought it was worth mentioning for those of you sporty peeps and campers.

You can get this Target coupon for 15% off Aerobed, Stearns or Coleman items.

There are so many things that would apply to from tents to chairs to swimming vests for the little ones.  I would grab it if you can use anything in the sporting goods department this year.

It is time for summer sports for us so I need to check out the collapsible chairs myself.

I mentioned several deals advertised in the Target ad for 5/20 with this coupon here.

OR if you want to shop online at Target.com, just use coupon code: YEJZUX4S.

One other deal that I wanted to mention, is for an Igloo ice chest.

You buy an Igloo 38qt rolling cooler for $22.00
Get a 24 pack of Pepsi free with purchase, plus get a water jug and ice pack ($9.99 value) free with purchase.

The value of the Pepsi is at least $5 so this seems like a great deal to me.

Head over to check out the Target ad deals for 5/20 here.
